I went back into the store and asked where the discount was. The cashier told me the discount is not for people who prepay (but not before she fumbled over her words, so I suspect if I didn't prepay she would have told me the discount was only for prepays ). The same cashier made a mistake punching in my $20 when I entered the first time, therefore I simply do not trust her statement and think the marquee sign is a big lie. I am not sure how the discount works if you don't pay first. How is it applied then? This place false advertises and the cashier was too shady to be able to explain the discount in a way that makes sense. Buyer beware here! They lie.

I was going in a few days a week, but I won't anymore. I stopped in for a bottle of wine and a couple other things. Three young women were in front of me and overcharged for frozen pizza. They questioned him and he said it was for a different pizza, but then they went over to the cooler and it was priced $5. He did not adjust the price for them. They just kind of looked at each other and left. I was next in line and decided to look at my receipt. I too was charged more than the listed price in the cooler for that wine and another item I bought. I pointed it out and all the cashier said was they were adjusting the prices for the season. I said that they needed to publish the correct price then. Nothing. Crickets. No adjustment and no apology. Barney's is only a couple miles, so I will just go there from now on. Check your receipts, but good luck getting them to make good on it.

I really like this store and I hope it stays open. I would think that only thing they could do to…read morefall on hard times is to hire some of the employees who worked for 7-11. Two 7-11's in the area closed down because the workers would lock the doors and sit in there on their phones. They would lock the doors during their shift and just sit there. I don't know if the owners had issues getting people but the security cameras would've told them the doors were locked. Anyway, this Circle K is fully stocked, clean and always perfectly staffed. Their customer service staff seem happy that customers come in, and all of the shelves are stocked. If they are out of something when you ask rest assured they are checking and giving a suitable answer as to why it's not there. They seem like they give a d*mn and that's a big deal these days. A lot of us are use to coming up to the 7-11 doors and seeing them locked so to have the service provided at the 24-hour Circle K is a big deal. I hope they stay. The prices aren't bad for a convenience store and their location is perfect considering the other store closures.

I only go to this location because they have a deli item I used to like. I no longer will eat the item after being treated that way. If it's too much trouble to treat someone like a human then find another job. After the card transaction completed he yelled at me to come back because my card was declined. You hear a lot of cashiers greet customers by name which warms your heart! The deli clerks are fast and friendly while at the same time fast and efficient! They carry Boars Head which is the main reason I went in! The produce department is a little on the small side but they carry the essentials. So many prepackaged fruit bowls! During our visit we noticed that they had a gingerbread house contest! My 6 year old had a blast voting for his favorite house!

When I get shots at other places, I always get really nervous about the needles--like how much they hurt. But whenever I go to Walgreen's I can even look at the needles when they put them in my skin. Special shout-outs to Katie and Amy because they are REALLY good at giving shots. I never feel the needles when they do it. (Well, of course, sometimes I feel it.) I recommend you try Walgreen's for all shots! Also, they have a lot of prescriptions--both pills and gummies--making it easy for kids to take them. I've seen the shelves before and I've seen like hundreds of prescriptions. So whenever you need a prescription, just go right to Walgreen's and get it.

Katie from the pharmacy (Hilltop Rd. In St. Joseph, Mi) has terrible customer skills and a terrible…read moreattitude. I waited for 10 minutes at the window to pick up a prescription and nobody acknowledged that I was there. Katie was on the phone and I asked if someone was going to help. With a smirk on her face, she said "I'm on the phone." No "I'm sorry. I'll be with you in a moment." Or, "I'm sorry for the wait but we are so busy. I'll be with you soon." Nothing. She hang up with whoever she was talking and said "we are busy." I said that I would change pharmacies because it is not the first time she has talked to me that way. She said "That is your choice and good luck. All the pharmacies are busy." When I get the prescription they are working on at this location I will change pharmacies, since they don't need my business. I don't need them either. It won't be another Walgreens.
