We saw a nice assortment of beef, chicken, pork, turkey, kielbasa, bologna, burger patties, raviolis, vegetables, prepared salads, breads, pies, cookies, packaged grocery items (e.g., chips, nuts, and sauces), etcetera. We took a number to get in line for the deli meats. We chose a meatloaf, chicken salad, maple sausage links, and chicken patties. The total price was $30. The cashier promptly and politely rang up our purchase. We ate the foods at home. We thought that the foods tasted very good. Catering is also available.

The chicken is delicious and you can taste the difference in quality in the beef, pork and other meats. My favorite thing about Dave's is their willingness to cut a smaller portion for roasts and also if there is not a cut on display they offer to get what you request. The freezer wrapping is just the finishing touch on the reason Dave's shines when compared to other stores in the area. I'm from Texas and my wife was born and raised here in Beaver Falls so one would think she would have piped up early on in our relationship about an old school butcher within 10 mins of our house that raises their own beef and sources many (...and I mean MANY) types of meats. They are highly accommodating to the small buyer (i.e. not ordering a 1/2 or whole cow or pig), yet they will allow you to provide your own cut sheet for a whole animal. They have smoked meat options, they have stuffed goodies (mushrooms, hot/mild peppers, pork chops, chicken breasts...probably more but I can't think of them at the moment), they prepare holiday meats for you (i.e. turkeys/hams/lamb/others), they have pies, they have soup bones, they have sauces, condiments...did I forget the bacon? Yes! They have all kinds of sausages, offer "bone in" and "boneless" of every cut you can imagine. If you live nearby and are a dyed in the wool carnivore as I am, you should kiss the ground and thank the big guy above that you live near this place. My various grills haven't been the same since I discovered this place...we be grillin' and smokin' ALL the time. At the meat counter, two employees spoke very courteously to my husband and me. They recommended that we purchase filet mignons, and we agreed to buy four. Next, the cashier immediately served us and spoke very nicely. The filet mignons were small, so the four together weighed slightly less than one pound. My husband said that the filet mignons contained more fat than the filet mignons that he buys from other stores. We did think that the filet mignons were tender and flavorful.

I'm positive that if I went back to the shop they would've remedied the situation, but I didn't feel it was necessary! The sandwich we did end up with was good as well, unsure which one it was though. Very fair prices, and our dog was so happy we brought him home a bone as well!
