So many day to day modern conveniences are a blessing; however when something isn't working properly it can cause headaches and chaos. Johnny's Plumbing and Hydronics has come to our rescue twice now and they will be our go to without reservation. Their knowledge, professionalism and quality of work are exemplary. They worked diligently to solve a recent plumbing problem which presented many challenges and they went out of their way to accommodate our needs, all while working with us to keep the repairs within our budget. Their workers were efficient, friendly and showed unexpected compassion when we had a family emergency while they were here working. They installed a water heater 3/14/2020. Early Sept 2025, the pilot light would not stay lit. Called Johnny's since they installed it and we're still under warranty. Guy who showed up said "warranty starts from mfg date, not install date" I call BS. They replaced a part and lowered their invoice to labor only. Still doesn't work properly. We continue to relight the pilot every time we use hot water. We don't want them in our home again. I'm taking a different approach to the manufacturer. read more

So after Johnnies has refused to come and fix THEIR work which was under warranty, work done on new construction, I have found a reputable plumbing company. They did a smoke test (Johnnies wanted $5000 for it, the new company did it for $700) and found the issue. As expected, in the toilet where the smell was coming from. So on this toilet they installed in new construction, they did it wrong, had a double flange, and not sealed. Evidently they installed the original one too low so they just hammered a new one onto the top of it, and there was no seal so sewer gases of course could come through. The new company fixed it and surprise, surprise, the sewer smell is gone. They also have to come and fix a couple of other issues that Johnnies did wrong....all this on brand new construction. They are the worst plumbing company ever, their people screw stuff up and Johnnies refuses to stand behind their warranty and fix it. My friend had them come out for warranty work on their boiler and they tried to charge them over $1000 for it. Just a really shady company, there are better choices. read more

I recently had Johnny's come out to repair a leaking boiler connection and give the whole system a once over. Since we live in the country and well away from town we were happy to see them arrive right on time and ready to work. They diagnosed the problem quickly and found a couple of other issues and took care of the whole thing quickly and efficiently. They had all the parts in their well stocked truck which sometimes is a surprise but they did. All done in about an hour with fast friendly service. I was very pleased. And....believe it or not... the bill was reasonable and less than expected. Yes I would recommend them. read more

The staff at Jonny's are great. We recently moved to Canon City from Nevada, and after tasting the water in the house we purchased, we had a whole house water purification system installed. They did a tremendous job on the installation and our water no longer tastes like an over-chlorinated pool! Today they installed a new gas range in our kitchen; I can't wait to start cooking with gas (after 9 years cooking with electric)!! I highly recommend Johnny's for ANY plumbing needs. read more

Our builder used them to do the plumbing in our home. Our contact at Johnny's stated they would assist us with a whole house water filtration system, yet we had to get a full water report for them to match the correct system. We obtained the full water report from Denver, submitted it to Johnny's, followed up numerous times with many excuses, and never heard back. read more

They come out once a year to clean and adjust my boiler, as necessary. They are punctual, competent, and pleasant to work with.

I was told that Johnny's had installed my boiler/hydronics system and were the only ones in the area qualified to service it when I bought our new home last year. I called them to have them service and inspect the system, as well as give me their recommendations for modernization/update to a more efficient system. I was able to get a tech out with 2 weeks, which was nice, but the follow-up quote/recommendation (despite at least 8 attempts to reach out to them) have not been returned. I got a call 6 weeks after the visit essentially saying they'd forgotten/lost my request and they'd get back to me...and here we are 6 weeks after that with zero contact despite me reaching out to Rubi (their receptionist/front desk person) several times. I'm extremely disappointed. read more

It took six months for Johnny's to get around to my bathroom remodel. They ended up sub-contracting the work out. I had difficulty getting them to return phone calls or emails. Will not use them again. By the time the job was done, I was unable to return extra materials to Lowes - they have a time limit on returns! Was not happy. read more

The worst aholes in town. Had them do a tub and sink faucet replacement , 600 hundred later the tub drain they put in had no trap for the hair and such, so I had to jerry rig a drain for it that I have to clean every week. Then they dropped a wrench in the basin and chipped the porcelain, said if I bought a new one they would install it for no charge. Big f'ing deal. I would not have them do a fricking thing, if you call expect the worst. And yea Shawn in nice taking your money but he don't back up his $hit. read more

Since having an AC/Heater installed I have experienced multiple issues with the system not cooling or heating as sensors keep tripping causing the system to just circulate untreated air. I've had their team come out to fix the issue and each time is all they can say is the duct work is too small and charge me a service charge (oh sure they move some wires are around so they can say they actually did something but its not fixing the problem since it continues to happen!) If the duct work is too small that should have been determined when building out the system so it could have been included in the cost of install! If duct size is the issue why does it start working again if I shut if off for a period of time? read more

I was a little worried to use Johnny's since they have a big showroom so I thought they might be expensive. But I have used them on two occasions, and Tony, whom they sent out for both jobs, has been outstanding. He has fixed numerous small problems in record time, given me great advice on fixtures (such as - keep this Moen faucet, it is easy to repair), and been pleasant and in fact awesome to deal with. The only concern is they are busy, so I've had to make appointments about a week in advance, but that is normal. I will definitely keep using Johnny's! read more
