This year they are at the red barn farm - 5703 208th Ave NE. There are other farms that have put up signs on the way there so its confusing, but we're glad we found them. They always have the best trees, and are great folks to do business with. read more

The place we used to go to, which was right around the corner from our house, got booted out cause a new Starbuck's went up where they used to camp out. I just happened across the site for Johnny's Trees on Google and since it was close by, we decided to check them out. They've got some HUGE trees that almost make me want to move to a house big enough to get one! Ok, not really (the new house part), but the giant trees are gorgeous. It was nice to see a few different types, and we changed things up a little this year. All the trees were really nice, and we easily found a few we liked. We went home with one, but we may go back for a second, smaller one for another room... or one of the really nice, full wreaths they had stacked in the middle of the lot. We needed a tree and my daughter was mesmerized by the display of reindeer, Frosty and lots more decorations. We parked and it started to look just like a Christmas Hallmark movie as we entered with a hot chocolate/cider station. They had a lot of tree options and they were fresh too. It helps that the trees come from Yakima, Chehalis or Oregon and are cut more recently that bigger stores. They have this tree shaking device that helps to eliminate dead needles and the helpful staff tied it to the roof of our car. Overall, we LOVED the experience and will be back next year. We have been going to Johnny's Trees now for three years. We have always had a great experience with the staff, they do a great job of making you feel welcome and having a lot of festive decorations for kiddos! Our trees that we have gotten from them have always lasted for way past the holiday season and are very fragrant! I love that Johnny takes the time to "shake" the trees before putting them in our truck bed too...that little shake actually saves a ton of sweeping later! Wow, we had the WORST service, so bad we left and didnt buy anything. So today we made the trek out from north Seattle because of the reviews. We brought our very well behaved dog, which is also my service animal. She didn't have her vest on because, for an outdoor, gravel lot, we didn't think this would be an issue. We were greeted once by a friendly younger man. Then an older man came from the trees and told us "no dogs" in a very urgent and extremely rude tone. We were apologetic and were going to just put her in the car and then he followed us to the car and told my partner we needed to clean up her mess, insisting she had peed on the ground (even if she did, how dare she, in an outdoor lot in the tree line). He made our whole group feel unsafe and we immediately left, to the point where my friends wouldn't even let me try and find somewhere else to go, they just wanted to leave. We went to a lot closer to home, who loved on my pup, and when I told them about our experience, were horrified at how we were treated. read more
