The owner checked it out, got some chemicals and had it repaired in 5 minutes. Apparently, the paint from the pole is what was on the car, but it looked like a much more involved project than that. Owner did not charge me for the work. He has done body and paint work for other people I know in the past and they have all be very happy. I've used Quality Collision in the past for body work repairs and never really had an issue…read more However, last time taking my vehicle there hitting a deer and my car needing major body repairs, they did not do a satisfactory job. I don't drive the car in winter and prior to the car being parked this past winter it had to be taken back several times for an air leak in the drivers door, which got worse every time they tried to fix it. Then took it to the automatic car wash and the window was leaking. Prior to the body work, the window never sounded like it had an air leak nor did it ever leak. They just couldn't seem to get it repaired correctly, even after several attempts. The quarter panel had a small dent and I was supposed to be called last Oct or Nov when the dent repair guy came on site but I was never called. I definitely know they were disgusted to continue seeing me come back, but I doubt any of them would have felt differently if it was their own vehicle. Extremely disappointed in the work, I expected way better, especially paying out of pocket for OEM parts. That's the last time I will use them for repairs because when it was a major repair needed, they couldn't get it right, even after several opportunities.

I brought it back, and he whined that my insurance company Liberty Mutual told him not to replace the fender, but to reuse it. This is without telling me. Our estimate is the contract for a new fender, not some half-assed hack job. It took multiple calls and visits for him to accept the car back. Still not properly repaired after the first time, it took THREE attempts for a decent repair. Much of the fender is covered by plastic flares, so who knows how the actual repair was done, under the skin. Bottom line, Ray at Herbies jerked me off and ruined my car through a HACK repair job. He wasted my time, pissed me off and ruined my car. I traded it in a few months later. Even though I had a few tiny repairs previously that went ok, I would NEVER go back and recommend that NOBODY use this shop. They will hand you back a crappy repair and try to pass it off as good quality. This technique works for an old minivan, but not a newer Audi. Ray needs a dressing down, he's a scamming piece of dirt.
