Halfway through the cleaning, they tried to double the price. This is despite telling me in writing that the quote was "per job" and I wasn't being charged by the hour. This is a classic bait and switch scam. I refused to pay more for the services already quoted, so after 2 hours they were pulled out. In that 2 hours the only thing done was to wipe down a couple doorknobs. No sweeping, no vacuuming, no wiping down cupboards or baseboards, nothing. Not even the bathtub or toilet. Find another company that won't try to up sell once they are in the house. read more

While the regular cleanings we received were good quality, on a particularly important date for us, the cleaners did not show up at the agreed upon time, without any prior notification. When I reached out to the management, they informed me that they would not consider compensating us for the lost service. I cancelled my recurring service. read more

This was my first time hiring a cleaning service. First of all, it was super easy to book them. Second, they did an excellent job. I haven't really deep cleaned my apartment in years and it was amazing to come home to all the nooks and crannies free of grossness. But third, and most impressive, is there was a snafu with a brand new white duvet cover. The house cleaner threw it out because the cat got sick or something on it. I would have just washed it and was upset it was thrown out. I called and they offered to replace it immediately. The new duvet arrived in less than two days. It's one thing to be thorough and good at your job. It's even better to own mistakes and make them right immediately. It truly speaks to the people who are a part of this business. We have hired 4 Senses once in the past, and were happy with their team's work. I was a little worried this morning when a "team" of only one person showed up - it was not a small job - but Veronica did an AMAZING job, very quickly considering she was on her own. She covered so many details that I was not expecting. My house hasn't been this clean in ages. We only hire cleaning services occasionally, but it's clear to me at this point that we should go with 4 Senses any and every time that we need to do so. read more

We've had 4 Senses Cleaning service for several years now. The cleaners are always pleasant and do a great job! Little touches are found throughout the house after they leave, how they make a bed, fold a blanket or place a stuffed animal. They are very accommodating with schedules as well. Ewa was very quick to get back to me with an estimate for a move-out clean and very prompt to reply to any email I sent her. I ended up needing to cancel the scheduled cleaning last minute and she was very understanding, polite, and professional. Their prices seemed a little high, but at least they were on top of their communication with me which I always appreciate. read more

We contracted with 4 Senses to clean our house. Our experience was extremely disappointing. When we arrived home, a member of the cleaning crew greeted us with the news that their car could not be started, that the owner had neglected to put gas in it. She asked my husband to help her. Being a nice guy, he put a little gas he had in a gas can into the car. It still would not start. Then they sent him to the gas station to get more gas. It still would not start. it turns out they had tried so many times to start it that they has drained the battery. Finally my husband gave the car a jump and it started. Naturally all this took quite a bit of my husband's time (I would estimate over half an hour, as well as considerable time of the member of the cleaning crew he was interacting with). Mind you we were being charged by the hour for the service and the whole crew no doubt had taken considerable time before we got back trying to resolve their problem. Finally they left. The house overall was clean, however there were many things they missed including baseboards and door surfaces, especially in the lower level which they cleaned last and poorly, probably because they were distracted by the car. But the real capper came with the bill. They charged us $475, which represented over four hours work for the crew of three. When we protested that they had not taken into account all the time the crew had clearly spent with the car debachal, to say nothing of my husband's time, the owner claimed that in actuallity the crew had been here for five hours, and to bolster her argument, generated start and stop times that did not reflect reality. She had no interest in our satisfaction what so ever. This is one of the more expensive cleaning services in the Madison area. For that, we expected premium service. Instead, my husband (and the house) reeked of gasoline, I had to spend a couple of hours completely the cleaning. In addition we got a huge bill and an unpleasant and disingenuous argument on the part of the owner. We will pay the bill because we have no other recourse, but we hope that our experience is a cautionary tale for others considering using their service. read more

Ewa came by to meet us and quoted me an excellent, competitive price. After our first cleaning, we were completely sold! Following a visit from 4 Senses, the whole house smells fresh and clean, and we love the fact that green products are used. Ewa and Mariusz have built up quite a business for themselves. We are continually impressed by their courtesy, professionalism, trustworthiness, and attention to detail.
