I honestly thought it was only for the people who attended the church that it's affiliated with but it's actually open to the public! I saw a handful of posts on FB Marketplace so I took that as a sign to head in! It's a smaller shop. Very organized, clean and bright! I appreciate how everything is categorized by it's item. Clothes, antiques, home. It was very easy to shop and look around. I checked about 50% of the store out. I usually go to thrift stores with one thing in mind and that's to find China dishes or old frames. Their antique section was smaller but had quite a few beautiful pieces! I was able to grab a pretty trinket dish and a couple berry bowls. And they were reasonably priced! I appreciate that they aren't price gauging their customers. Thrifting is supposed to be fun and money saving! These folks are here for the people and not for crazy profit, I appreciate that! I look forward to coming back and supporting this thrift shop. I would like to donate and support them that way as well! I can't wait to see what kind of goodies I'll be able to find in my future shopping adventures here.

Who doesn't like to go thrifting for clothes and fun accessories. The shop is really small but the way they have things laid out, there was actually a ton of merch in this place. You have shoes, accessories and lots of clothes. There's not really much organization in this joint. Nothing is sized. Everything is scattered on racks. There's no method to it's madness to their clothing system here. The shoe and accessories are nicely organized but other than that is quite interesting trying to shop here. Pricing is quite high for a thrift store. They are selling used clothing and some of these pieces were amusingly priced. A lot of the clothes here are quite aged and the price they want for it is quite humorous. I paid 10 bucks for a denim dress that they had marked down to 10 bucks. Original ticket was 15. At that point you might as well go to Walmart and get yourself a new dress. I'm on the fence about this joint. It's local. It had some cool things in there. The venue is fun and bright. But the prices are high, the clothing is chaotic with no sizing system and a majority of the pieces are dated. It's nice to have a cool thrift joint around the corner from me but I'd rather drive down the road to save a couple extra bucks and shop somewhere that more structured and organized.

I looked at their birthday party packages and they are definitely overpriced compared to other kid friendly places that host birthday parties. The lady with the blonde wig definitely yelled several times and yeah, the soda is served in mouthwash cups. I did see a lot of reviews about how people aren't allowed to skate fast or do tricks but I definitely watched people skate fast & do tricks which was the one thing that looked fun and fine for everyone. Again, I hope the owners care about improving the experience but it will be several years before I think about letting my kids come back. & if the owners don't care, I hope this review helps other parents make an informed choice before booking a party or event!

There are several variety of these types of store, Spirit and Halloween City. Lately, though, I have avoided such places simply because the prices are very expensive and the items typically are cheap costume types. Knowing what my tombstone read before entering Spirit located at the Cost Plus store near Petsmart, i decided to tempt fate anyways and go inside. Sure, there are the usual suspects of trendy Halloween costumes, but I really liked was the different displays. Being in retail for over five years, I have keen eye for what makes a great display and what does not. I also note where products are placed and how end caps are utilized. I am not sure who designed the layout or the displays at this location but they get a GRADE A!. Simply amazing. It's almost like taking a tour down Harrison on Halloween night. Upfront you have a very spooky tree with life-real animatronics, Sorry not going to spoil which ones you will encounter. Around the bend you a wide selection of Halloween home decor. Whether its the zombie hands that you stake into your lawn, or the ghostly lanterns to illuminate the pathway to your front door, they have it all. Tucked away in the left hand back corner of the store is a fantastic albeit gory display of more animatronics. Please check out how they decided to display all four of them in such a manner that you may have to take a bathroom break. Yes, you find the Joker, Harley Quinn, and Batgirl costumes, as well as the adult costumes, but I have to admit there's less of the adult theme costumes than previous years, and for that, I am glad. While they are funny for couples, I don't believe they should be available or seen for the younger kids. If you want to feel like a Presidential Candidate, you find both Hilary and the Donald here as well as some Feel the Bern items as well. I also found some Day of the Dead costume ideas as well as home decor item tucked away to into two different locations. The young kids selection is all the way to the left and you find everything from Power Rangers to Legos and Ninja Turtles. If you are the type to make your costume or go to a second hand store to purchase costume, the entertainment value and cost of visiting the Spirit Halloween is still worth the trip. Enjoy while the stores are still here and maybe just maybe, you'll get your ghoul on!!!
