When I contacted the owner to discuss these problems, instead of showing concern or attempting to resolve the situation, they were condescending and dismissive. There was no accountability for the broken items, the careless work, or the security risk created by leaving my home open. I had reached out for help during a very vulnerable time -- after multiple deaths in the family, losing our senior dogs, recovering from a chronic illness, and managing renovations on a second home while my primary home had been neglected.
