Johns is located at the top of the Winsted Green, next to Johns imports. I have theories, but they don't seem to keep the same hours. The package store has a constant flow of customers. One leaves, one walks in. They have ice outside and a cooler of nips when you walk in, which is so cute! All those mini bottles in rows.... Beer is in back, with liquor around the end caps and wall. Wine is in the middle. It is the most reasonable priced wine ever. Most bottles were around 10.99. The two most expensive bottles were 25.99 and 36.99. They cannot be faulted for price! read more

I've bought from here countless times was carded on my 21st birthday was carded by just about every person working here after only about 3 months of my 21st birthday hadn't been carded in over a year because everyone knew me at this point I'm nearly 22 and I've spent over 1000 dollars here and I go in I've lost my ID like an idiot but that's never been a problem so I go in get what I normally get and this old dude I've never seen before is there gives me a douchebag type of look and says he's gonna need to see my I'd I explain I've been carded here many times and everyone already knows me. But he's sure I'm a minor and sticks to his guns and say "doesn't matter" then why has the owner told cashier's not to card me before because I've already been carded. Extremely annoyed by the customer service! I didn't know they closed early there was no sign on the door. Everytime I come in here I always feel rushed. Like I'm annoying them. They clearly saw that I was looking for something else and didn't ask me for help! Instead yelled they were closing soon. Wouldn't you want me to spend more money! I would have if I had gotten the help. I just walked out! I'm sick of being treated like that. This shit holes down the street from my house and I rather go to a place with better service!
