I've been wanting to pick some up in the Branford/ East Haven area but it's such a long drive and package stores sell out fast. Also found the Smash on the Beach drinks I was looking for, hard Sunny D, and New England blueberry cider which is also hard to find sometimes. I'm not a heavy drinker but I felt like a kid in a candy store lol.

I would love to know how to get out to the light at the nearby car wash, otherwise the most accessible exits may have you waiting a decent amount of time (depending on the time of day) to turn left onto 202.

One leaves, one walks in. They have ice outside and a cooler of nips when you walk in, which is so cute! All those mini bottles in rows.... Beer is in back, with liquor around the end caps and wall. Wine is in the middle. It is the most reasonable priced wine ever. Most bottles were around 10.99. The two most expensive bottles were 25.99 and 36.99. They cannot be faulted for price!

There is a separate room for cigars, coolers for mixers, and smaller shopping carts. The guys working kept offering help, but I shop by price point so not much to look for. On the plus side, they do have multiple price points from $10 for a bottle to over $100. They also have coolers of beer in the back. Selection is otherwise predictable, prices seem okay. Ice is available in a cooler outside.

Bottle Stop is right between the huge Avon Goodwill Store and an auto parts dealer, and truth be told it looks small and fairly unimpressive from the parking lot. But once you go inside you'll see that the store is actually quite large and the aisles seem to go on forever. Their beer section is enormous, filling both sides of an aisle from the front of the store to the back. They sell quite a few single bottles so you can be adventurous and create your own six packs. We went to the bargain wine section and walked away with a nice Pinot Grigio for $3.99. Wandering the aisles and checking out their big inventory made me pretty sure they would have whatever I might need from a liquor store.

Reason being the bottles were from Germany and the writing on my bottles weren't in "American". That was my plan, you see. To get bottles from The European Union and bankrupt America five cents at a time. Crazy Bruce's has never given any such issue so they get my business from time to time. They run excellent specials on Seasonal beer items that have just past the season. They also have a really good selection of local beers from the area. There specials and customer service make it worth the 15-20 minute drive for me.

Don't fooled by the cooler cases and be sure to step into the beer cave to see the full selection! Super nice, super helpful, good prices, great selection--not much to say about the decor!
