I spoke with Martha over the phone, and she was able to set up an appointment with an internal medicine vet for less than a week later. The waiting area is large, and there's a small space for isolating cats (in carriers, of course). This was appreciated. Once in a room, a vet tech asked thorough questions and took notes. Then our cat was whisked away for an exam by Dr. Hoh, a veterinary internal medicine specialist. Our cat was returned to the room and Dr. Hoh came in to speak with us. Her many years of experience, combined with our observations, changed the course of treatment for our cat. For the time being, we will be taking a more conservative approach and reporting back to the internist in a few weeks. As it turned out, the person I initially spoke with over the phone checked us out when we left. Martha was just as friendly and helpful in person as she was over the phone. Places like this are not cheap to visit, but given we were not in an emergency situation and the fact that a specialist was involved it was not at all unreasonable. More importantly, we were greatly relieved and are cautiously optimistic about our cat's prognosis.

Its wasn't i was home waiting on this. When call them about this. I was told I had to call the this no. I did. They hung up on me three times. I had to lose it to get my money back. This is not a place I would recommend taking your animal too. Due to me about a test never given. I cant even get a rating on thos place. Just find a vet that will do their job when clients ask them too instead of taking their money.... XXX RATING HERE CANT BE APPLY.... NOT HAPPY AT ALL.... They told me it was just bruising, said the biopsy was a minor procedure that couldn't have caused internal bleeding, and told me there was no need to bring her in. But my gut told me something wasn't right -- so I took her to the emergency vet. She was bleeding internally. If I had listened to DSAH and waited, my dog would have died that night. Please think twice before trusting this clinic. My experience was that they brushed off my concerns and didn't take my dog's condition seriously. Trust your instincts -- they can save your dog's life.
