She also talks with a lisp with them in. We jumped through every hoop they asked us to jump through for months to "fix them". They were still too big and didn't stay in. She cannot use them. Every time they said they would call, they did not call. I would receive a text or email several days later, or nothing at all. We waited for over a month before I called and followed up on a product they claimed would work to make the dentures fit correctly. We asked the dentures to be remade, and instead they sent me a referral to a different dentist. I was a patient for 20 years. They are in it for the money, not to help you. I had also sent them one of my coworkers for implants, and they completely mess up his dental work as well. I suggest you look elsewhere for a better dental team.

I figured his practice was still my best bet. The new dentists there are great--as well as all of the hygenists, assistants and receptionists! Some of whom still even remembered me. They got me in fast, got the job done and got me on my way. Things are clean and pleasant and they offer TV and headsets, although the nice view of the river was enough for me.

Prior to our visit I explained that my daughter had jaw problems. I had questions but, when I realized they just wanted to talk money, I wrapped it up and we finished the appointment. You would think when a child comes in with a unique medical condition, you would want to talk to the parents. I did not feel comfortable the treatment plan was coming from the same person who also handled the financial paperwork. Especially when they have absolutely no knowledge of said medical condition. After it was clear the doctor wasn't coming in, I wrapped up the appointment and left. We went somewhere else and the orthodontist actually looked at her mouth and addressed our concerns. I'm definitely not saving money by going elsewhere, but I feel 100% ok with that. I also hate they push Invisalign on you. I get it, you make money off the product but, no means no.

But I was pleasantly surprised it is a smaller office and its more of a personal touch although they don't keep the same hygienists they seem to be temps. Dr. Vicki Shah is very nice and did my first filling with her and she was gentle and patient and she got my numbing correct in the first shot that used to take forever with other dentists. The filling did not take long and was perfectly shaped on the first try. Definitely recommend.

They scheduled worked to get me an appointment and was very helpful and friendly. Got me in within the week. Front desk staff was very friendly as was the dentist, Dr Kind. Great name. I was not as impressed with the hygienist. She mispronounced my name and she questioned my pronunciation of my own name! She also questioned my answers on medical history. She seemed incredulous that I'd never had major surgery. She claimed having my tonsils removed at age six qualified as major surgery. We'll that's so far removed from current day reality. But, she seems to be trusted by dentist so I overlooked her lack of emotional intelligence. When I was done she walked me back to the front desk and whispered to the front desk that they should collect payment from me before I left and not bill me. Not sure why, but my insurance paid for part of my bill and I had no issue paying the balance. I had to wait ten minutes to accomplish that. After moving to the area my whole family started at Rock River Dental. After leaving messages or…read moregetting zero call backs from several other dentists in the area, I was pleasantly surprised when someone actually just picked up the phone. They were able to get my kids in for appointments 2 months earlier than others in the area. For adults, they do a consult appt before scheduling your cleaning. Slightly more time consuming for you, but it gives you a complete oral hygiene plan before they start any work so it worked out well for us as we had a lot going on. And they helped us out with those referrals we needed too. Location is well-kept, they are amazing with kids, hygienists and dentists are wonderful, and they're right off the freeway, great for Milton residents. They'll be our dentists for a long time to come.
