I had an extremely frustrating experience with this dental office involving a bridge that I paid…read morefor but was never made right. I returned multiple times because of problems with the bridge. Each time they made adjustments, I was charged again. I was never told beforehand that I would continue being charged for these visits. My issue is simple: I had already paid for a bridge, and I believe the office had a responsibility to make sure the work they provided was correct. Eventually, instead of resolving the problem, I was told they were essentially done dealing with it and that I needed to see another dentist. When I asked for a recommendation, I was told to find a doctor myself because the dentist was "too busy" to recommend one. I found another dentist on my own, but then had difficulty getting this office to send my records to the new dentist. Those records were important because this office had performed the original work and additional treatment, and the new dentist needed to know exactly what had been done before trying to correct the problem. Throughout this process, I also found the woman at the front desk extremely rude and dismissive. She told me I would be charged each time because they were performing work. Again, nobody had explained beforehand that I would repeatedly be charged for attempts to correct a bridge that I never felt was properly completed in the first place. Now they are pursuing me for additional money that insurance did not cover, which I have refused to pay because I dispute these additional charges. I paid this office expecting to receive a properly completed bridge. Instead, I ended up with repeated charges, was told to find another dentist to correct the problem, had difficulty obtaining my records for that dentist, and am now being pursued for the disputed balance. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office.

The care from the dentist was great. However, the office staff was extremely difficult to deal with…read moreand acted like they were doing us a favor on a continual basis. When my son was having his wisdom teeth removed, they would not submit his preauthorization forms even though our dental insurance company specifically requested them. I was told, "most dental offices don't do that because it takes too long. If you want to do it, you have to do it on your own." I was then give. The line of how fortunate we are because they will at least bill our insurance company instead of making us pay upfront and then recoup it from the insurance company offer the fact. I called several other dentists after this conversation and learned that they would in fact submit the preauthorization. My son was 7 minutes late for a prior visit and they called us three times to complain. Certainly I'd prefer that he was not late, but that is a huge overreaction to 7 minutes. When I finally asked them to forward our records to a new office as I was done with them, they again refused. I was told that request had to come from the new dentist. Again, this follows their attitude of them doing us a favor with everything.

Mr. Tomas told me that he's not comfortable dealing with such young kids in his practice when it comes to fillings? WOW. He gave me a referral to a pediatric dentist 30 min away because he said he did not like the practice in Lake Geneva. I asked him if I can just schedule a filling with her so I did not have to pay for another exam, and he said no. That dentist will have to check her out first. So why did I even go to Mr. Thomas "family dentistry" in the first place? So he can tell me my child has a cavity? What a ripoff this office was. They charged me over $160 per child for a 10 min appt.

Jaymie and Sarah were beyond kind, compassionate, patient....I could go on and on. It was a slow start for me, anxiety ridden and nervous (about everything and nothing). They made me feel comfortable and cared for. Truly cared for, for hours, which put me at ease. They gave me time to work through my anxiety and fears. Allowed me to stop and sit up when ever I needed to (many times). QUALITY is the best word to describe Braden Dental. And what pain?? None! High tech stuff going on in there. Seriously, I was scared of the shot(s), but I really felt almost nothing at all. After a while (I was there for almost 4 hours), my brain and body realized I was in a safe place, and they weren't going to allow me to suffocate or drown (irrational fears). They allowed me time to work through my feelings, and that was truly amazing. Jaymie worked her magic, and I'm incredibly grateful. If you need dental work, and want THE BEST of THE BEST, you need look no further. It was so refreshing, and surprising, that I was given so much time to adjust to all the dentisty things going on. We took a break in the middle and I was able to do a 10 minute meditation, which changed the rest of the appointment. I ended up humming to the music playing in the office while they were working in my mouth! (REALLY GOOD MUSIC: Fleetwood Mac, Journey, Queen, Keith Urban, Rolling Stones, Chicago, and lots more) Just so grateful! I will never go to another dentist. Ever. I will forever recommend them. Cool sidebar... Jaymie (my dentist) is a turkey hunter, too! So easy to talk to. A doctor has never made me feel more like a fellow human and not just another patient. Before Braden, I tried two other local dentists and I went running for the hills from both. Just because Braden isn't part of any dental ins network does NOT mean that your insurance will not cover them. My first appointment was almost totally paid for by my ins (Delta Dental). It made my former dentist look like he was operating in the dark ages. It was determined that I needed some fillings to be replaced. Based on past experience, the injection of novocaine was always the most painful part of the process. I was quite pleased that Dr. Rowley was able to administer the shot completely painlessly. My filling process was 100% pain-free.
