My cats have a different vet (Tyranena, which I highly recommend) but I have gone to Jefferson Vet Clinic for the nail trim. Instead of telling me weeks ago when I made this appointment they needed my proof of vaccination they told me at the time of the visit & then refused to trim my cats nails! I am VERY frustrated as they have never mentioned this any other time I've taken my cats there!

Dr. Luebbe is kind, always answers my questions fully (no matter how many times I ask the same ones), and is informative. He spends a lot of time with us, especially now that Conan is getting older, and I have more concerns. Conan has chronic pain due to hip dysplasia, and Dr. Luebbe has been very responsive to this. The veterinary technicians are friendly, the puppers adore them, and all but SKIP into the clinic. One of them even does GROOMING now, so that alleviates what was once a long trip. The front desk has been handled for years by Deb (I think she runs the whole place, she says she doesn't), and if the boys need to be seen right away due to illness, she gets us in with another vet. The waiting area is large, and the clinic isn't overbooked and thus full of anxious animals (and their guardians) waiting to be seen. The cost is reasonable for the area, and the staff does a charity event for the hungry at Christmas. Seriously- we are BLESSED to have them as our animal health care providers.

I called another vet and was told they'd charge $15. I'm done with this place. I just had our pets records switched to our new vet. If you want to overpay, give them a try. But personally--I'd rather pay a fair fee and donate the rest to a rescue or the humane society!

Dr. Carrie was amazing. Let me start with the fact I was nervous about Tessa's end and a stranger being there as Tessa was terrified of strangers. Dr. Carrie arrived timely, she was very soft-spoken, very soft in her presence, Tessa was able to leave without fear of the stranger that was helping her pass. I can't express how much easier this made Tessa's transition and made me that much more comfortable doing the dreaded. Dr. Carrie was very understanding too. She went on my time frame, she waited for me to say it was time, and even then, before she did the initial injection, she verified I was okay with her helping Tessa pass. Tessa's passing was painless and stress-free. I highly recommend Dr. Carrie, she truly made a bad situation much easier and truly respected both Tessa and me.
