I have been using this clinic for my two kitties for months never and have had experiences similar to them. I have mostly worked with Dr DeChristina who has been nothing but amazing! She's helped my girlfriend and I understand how best to care for our two new kittens; diets, vaccinations, and the pros and cons of certain optional procedures. I've always felt informed and that she cares greatly about me and my animals. I would definitely recommend Chalet and particularly Dr DeChristina to anyone looking for a great new Vetrinarian.

Only when I got there I found out that this wasn't the case at Chalet at all. I am so disappointed at their customer service and how they treated my kitty. The doctor walked in and basically asked me if my cat is nicer at home, then gave him a shot without even telling us what it was. Before anything else was said, she told us that we could go. We were so confused and shocked all at the same time that we didn't know what to say. A minute later, she walked in with another lady and told her to scruff our kitty while she gave him another shot... What was that?? I don't think we'll ever come back here again, I think other pet owners deserve to know what kind of service they'll be getting from this clinic.

Each time I have had to take my pet there they have gone out of their way to involve me in the process. When they treat your pet they will do so incrementally to see what works and to keep costs down as much as possible. (Having a pet is never inexpensive.)

I just went to bring my cat in for a nail trim (who just had her nails trimmed 2 months ago by…read morethem) and the vet tech comes out to tell me she cannot do the trim because they don't have proof of rabies vaccine! My cats have a different vet (Tyranena, which I highly recommend) but I have gone to Jefferson Vet Clinic for the nail trim. Instead of telling me weeks ago when I made this appointment they needed my proof of vaccination they told me at the time of the visit & then refused to trim my cats nails! I am VERY frustrated as they have never mentioned this any other time I've taken my cats there!

Dr. Luebbe is kind, always answers my questions fully (no matter how many times I ask the same ones), and is informative. He spends a lot of time with us, especially now that Conan is getting older, and I have more concerns. Conan has chronic pain due to hip dysplasia, and Dr. Luebbe has been very responsive to this. The veterinary technicians are friendly, the puppers adore them, and all but SKIP into the clinic. One of them even does GROOMING now, so that alleviates what was once a long trip. The front desk has been handled for years by Deb (I think she runs the whole place, she says she doesn't), and if the boys need to be seen right away due to illness, she gets us in with another vet. The waiting area is large, and the clinic isn't overbooked and thus full of anxious animals (and their guardians) waiting to be seen. The cost is reasonable for the area, and the staff does a charity event for the hungry at Christmas. Seriously- we are BLESSED to have them as our animal health care providers.

I toured, thought it seemed large and well-staffed, and took the risk. I paid for daily photo updates and they sent me really cute pictures every day. My dogs absolutely loved being at Camp K9. I thought when I picked them up they'd be freaking out like when I get home after going to work. They were so happy and chill, I was so relieved. I am glad I trusted Camp K9 with my pups and will be doing so again.

We have 4 dogs and she is wonderful with them. As a bonus her prices are extremely reasonable and she's a very nice person. It's much less stressful on your pets and you have it done in your home. The vet made it look easy, so I was confident my husband and I could manage on our own...not so much. We called Jami and set up a time for her to come over and she was great about answering questions and showing my husband and I what to do so we could eventually do it ourselves. We ended up using her nearly every other day for the first two weeks when we had problems trying to do it ourselves or when our cat was feeling mutinous, and we were pretty squeamish about the whole thing. It was easy to set up an appointment via text/phone and Jami was always on time. Plus she was willing to work around my work schedule coming over before or after my 9-5 and it was much easier to have her come than to try to wrangle our cat into her carrier and take her to the vet and at $15 a visit it wasn't prohibitively expensive (the vet would have been $35). And I think it was less stressful on our cat to be handled in our own home. When our cat's condition worsened, Jami answered her phone at 9:30 on a Friday night and later texted me to see if everything was ok. Unfortunately, we had to put our cat to sleep. Jami was incredibly comforting and kind enough to find a shelter that would accept our nearly new but open bag of pet food. She's the only in-home vet tech we've used, so I can't compare her prices/services to others but we had a great experience using her.

Prior to the grooming session, I explicitly communicated that my dog suffers from severe anxiety, possesses highly sensitive nails, and reacts poorly to blow dryers. These crucial details were conveyed to ensure a calm and safe experience for him. Madelyn'a immediate response was one of overt rudeness and unprofessionalism, marked by dismissive eye-rolling and a sarcastic retort, "Oh, like I haven't heard that before." This utterly disregarded my legitimate concerns and set an alarming precedent for the subsequent care. Upon collection, my dog was visibly trembling and in an unprecedented state of distress, far beyond his usual initial apprehension. It is important to note that at seven years old, he has undergone numerous grooming sessions throughout his life without ever exhibiting such extreme post-grooming trauma. The full extent of the horror became apparent shortly after. Once I secured him in his car seat and returned home, I discovered a horrifying scene: his entire car seat was saturated with blood. Closer inspection revealed that every single one of his nails had been severely butchered and was bleeding profusely. This was not a minor 'quick' on one nail; it was a comprehensive and shocking mutilation.I immediately contacted the establishment to address this grave matter with Madelyn Sanderson and her response was one of complete denial and appalling indifference. She disavowed any responsibility, callously suggesting the injuries were likely due to my dog moving around too much, stating "it happens," and incredibly, instructing me to "get over it." This complete lack of accountability and empathy is inexcusable. As a direct consequence of her gross negligence, two of my dog's nails subsequently developed severe infections, necessitating veterinary intervention and causing him immense pain and discomfort. It is unequivocally clear that Madelyn possesses neither the necessary temperament nor the professional competence to work with animals, particularly those with specific sensitivities or anxiety. Her inability to interact with stressed animals, coupled with her dismissive attitude and demonstrable negligence, renders her entirely unsuitable for such a role. Given the severity of this incident I have formally reported this matter to the Board of Health, my local Attorney General, office, and the Better Business Bureau. I firmly believe that if such egregious treatment has occurred with my dog, it is highly probable that other animals under her care are also at risk. So that's why 1 star is removed, we haven't tried for a long time to get in here so maybe things have changed but we ended up having to go to Earthwise Pet Supply in East Madison until we moved to Janesville and are now looking for new groomers down there since traveling to Madison for dog grooming appointments is a lot of travel time.
