My son is really into reading and goes through books like there's no tomorrow. We have paid for access to the Queen Creek library because there is no other library close but I'm beyond excited that there is now a close library in our county. This library has all new books, a cute little underwater themed children's area to sit and read, play a floor puzzle or play with some of the block toys that they have. They also have cool modern seating areas around the library, a computer area, copier, fax and printer. Since this place is new the shelves and books are sparkling clean. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I also read that they are searching for volunteers so help lead some programs! We will be back for sure

Unfortunately they never asked me what size plates I needed and I didn't know they had different sizes for golf carts. When the plates arrived they were motorcycle size plates that don't fit the bracket on my golf cart. When I called about getting the large size plates they said I would have to drive back to the office and pay them again to have the correct size plates. They said whoever helped me should have asked and that most golf carts use the smaller plate. They were sorry I got the wrong size but would have to pay again to get the correct size. Make sure you know the size plates you need and that they order the correct size or it will cost you extra to correct the problem.

EVMC has a 94-bed shelter that provides comprehensive programs and strategies for each resident. For many men facing challenges because of past substance abuse, criminal involvement, life changing events or simply a long life on the streets, it means a long road back and that journey starts here. EVMC does pre-screened of potential residents before enrollment. They are asked to be candid about the problems that resulted in their homelessness. Once at the facility, EVMC staff ensure that each resident comply with established rules. During their stay, all residents must work full-time and save 85% of their income. Some area churches has given bicycles, reflectors, helmet to help residents travel to these jobs. A New Leaf and EVMC believes that the key to success for the residents in re-entering society is providing life skills training, work assistance, counseling, socialization skills, food, basic needs and shelter. There are also Case Managers who work individually with residents to set personal goals and address their barriers in becoming productive and contributing members of society. Beyond incompetent! Sent my Christmas cards out thru this post office. They ran all my envelopes…read morebackwards and upside down. Returned all of them stating no stamp was on them. Over 40 envelopes. I even bought my stamps from this same post office weeks before. Over 40 cards, over 40 stamps, my time, my gas! I took these to the post office and handed them to the clerk. Even going back to the post office and showing them their mistake they refused to take them back, saying I must redo everything. It's your job to mail our envelopes. If you make a mistake, you all should own up to it. I have attached two pictures. One with the front of the envelope and one of the back of the envelope. Both showing the post office stamp.
