I was driving on 169 Southbound and Brooklyn Park. There was a tow truck on the side of me in the…read moreleft lane at first he didn't notice me and almost switched lanes right into my car I went into the shoulder slightly to avoid an accident. Then he started tailgating me and was literally about a foot from my rear bumper, the traffic in front of me slowed down and I got rear-ended. I got out of my vehicle to talk to the driver and he told me I slammed on my brakes on purpose. Then while the car waited for the cop to arrive he started scrambling. He didn't even have his tow hooks properly secured he started hooking up his tow hooks properly because that could have caused damage to some other vehicle, or even worse if someone was on the motorcycle they could have gotten hit by these big hooks. He had a female with him. We parked on the shoulder I walked up to the tow truck to take a picture of the company name and the female started yelling at me to get into my car. Then she told the state trooper how I grabbed the door handle I was trying to get into the tow truck which is a complete lie. I don't understand if you are an operator of a tow truck why you wouldn't keep your distance from other vehicles and you would tailgate so close. This company will give you an estimate over the phone for you car (with or without a title)…read more However, there is no paperwork trail, so don't be surprised if you don't get what was quoted. When I called to get more information from the dispatch, they refused to answer any questions, even saying "call someone who cares" when I asked for them to double check. This company has at least a couple numbers linked to "other" companies, but it goes to the same place. If you are just trying to get rid of an old car and don't care about the money or the customer service, this company can do that, just don't expect anything impressive.
