I live in Atlanta GA and ordered flowers from Johnson's Florist and Balloons in Savannah....I would NOT use them again...The flowers that I ordered for my friends birthday were NOTHING like the order I placed...I have called and left messages for the owner of the shop to call me....She has yet to return my call....Very very POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE !! Do not use this flower shop...They have inferior products and don't care to make their customers happy... It had been almost two weeks and no resolution to my complaint... read more

I had a very bad experience with Johnson's Florist & Balloon. I spent over $650 with them for funeral floral arrangements and received low quality and tacky products. The casket spray was done with old roses (or not fresh roses), that began wilting immediately after delivery to the funeral home. Most of the rose petals were wilting, spotty and/or stained. The banners (2) attached to the casket spray had pieces of the foil missing for some letters. I also purchased a cross made of artificial flowers (which cost the same as the live ones), and the cross' foundation was not sturdy with pins coming out in the back. The back of the cross looked like it was not done by a professional florist, but someone with less experience and skill. The cross was not sturdy on it's stand and started to fall apart at the cemetery. I went back to the store to complain and talk with them about the purchases and how I was disappointed. It didn't matter with the owner, and I received a refund for only the banners that they messed up. They weren't even decent enough to refund me some of the money paid for the floral arrangements. "Buyer beware." This florist is unprofessional and not customer service oriented. read more

I was always told if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all and I hate leaving bad reviews. I thought about this for several days and still felt the need to share. I'm in AZ, and ordered a bouquet for my sister's birthday. Wanted to pay a local florist rather than a big box company. You know, support the local economy and the mom and pop shops. Paid for the best upgrade. What was delivered didn't even live up to the regular option. Will not order from them again. Maybe if you're able buy in store and can see the arrangement before paying you'll get what you pay for. read more

Embarrassing. My friend sent me flowers today and paid $55 for them and it looked like old flowers from Kroger stuck in a glass vase. I was embarrassed to even receive them. Nothing not to like and plenty to like- several times over. I have called/ordered from Johnson's from out of state for the past couple of years, as my go to Savannah florist retired. The staff have always been courteous, friendly, and helpful on the phone. They are great at listening and bridging the gap between what I vaguely describe I am looking for and my ballpark price range, and the thoughtful arrangement that is put together and delivered. My recipients have always loved what they have received. The pictures of the arrangements that I have seen of what has been delivered, have been very nice. It is challenging in my book to try to have quality, and fairly unique arrangements described, selected, and delivered from out of state over the phone. Rip off! They charged $50.00 for 6 roses and babies breath! The roses weren't even long stem and they didn't even open up! Nothing in the store had a price tag, I could tell she was making prices up as she went along. Do yourself a favor and go to Publix, better florist and better prices. read more

Wow, what a gem. After being very disappointed by another florist I stopped by here to see what they had. I never even knew they were there. The florist was extremely helpful and courteous. She made me an amazing arrangement for my wife for our anniversary. It blew my wife away. I was very happy and will give all of my future business to them. Johnson's Florist is a great place to get plants or flowers. I have looked for houseplants at Lowes and Home Depot only to find out the plants have bugs. I have purchased several houseplants from Johnson's and have been very happy. I have also ordered flowers for delivery and have had nothing but praise on the flowers they deliver. They do an awesome job and the staff is very outgoing and willing to please. I will continue to use them as long as I am here. read more
