If you are a newbie at aldi, bring a quarter to use to rent a cart (you get the quarter back) or reusable bags to tote your items around the store before purchasing. They don't have plastic grocery bags (yay for less waste!) and, while they do have some reusable bags available for purchase, they encourage you to bring your own. They have a pretty wide variety of foods available and I have been able to get most of my grocery shopping done at Aldi. The only thing I still go to Walmart for is more unique items (e.g. bread flour, any very specific food item that wouldn't be in a smaller store). However aldi has the basics- milk, cheese, bread, excellent meat deals, most other household goods (even their own pet food). It is a great way to say on your grocery budget AND save a little waste from the landfill. An excellent addition to grocery shopping in the Oxford area.

Also, typically, cuts don't seem to be overly fatty. Bakery department has a good selection of breads and dessert (cakes, cookies, ice cream cakes, etc) available and at similar prices as you would pay anywhere else. They have really good rates for the propane bottle exchange too (less than $17). Staff is always friendly and helpful and keep checkout lines moving quickly. Overall store cleanliness is always spot on. Not a lot of clutter or appearance that they need to do cleaning. Really like this store and continue shopping here.
