I walked out feeling upset and mad as I asked her even if we are vaccinated and she said masks were still required. As I walked out I explained to her she just lost $400 sale as we were all there to get 1-2 pairs of Birkenstock's. The state of VA has lifted all mandates related to COVID. I guess they don't want our business... and no one was in the store only 1 store associate.

The sweater arrived really quickly, sizing was off (because of my ordering) but they were really friendly to exchange. It's a small business so it's calling up and arranging, but everyone was very friendly and helpful that I talked to. The time for me to ship it back and get a new size was very reasonable. And I love my sweater, it's so soft, I can't wait to wear it in winter. They have a great selection in person and online, and the clothes are a good value for the price. I don't always buy, but I do always walk in and browse when I'm in the area.

Before putting the item into my cart, I clicked on the hyperlink for "Shipping" for their shipping policy and saw that items over $75 are shipped free (see screenshot). However, after adding the sweater to my cart, I then I realized that I was going to be charged $13.95 for shipping (see second screenshot). I honestly do not understand how a business can advertise free shipping within their shipping policy for orders over $75 and then charge $13.95 for an order that costs $127.46. Clearly this is an issue that needs to be addressed to avoid false advertising.

I understand that with the quality of leather that there will be minor scratches and visible bend marks. Yes, I know that the leather will eventually change color-but after you are the one to cause them to do so-not a brand new pair. I asked to see a different pair, same size and same color. It's a British company with some nice outdoor/skii-type clothing and I actually found a really nice black puffer jacket on sale for 70% off inside and got a steal on it! They had some really cute clothing inside and I visited the website to find some cute shoes, accessories, dresses and other items as well as jewelry and more. Staff inside were friendly and it's right in the main part of the shopping/walking/dining district of downtown Williamsburg so you can easily pop in and take a look while visiting some of the other shops or going to the Colonial Williamsburg part.
