My wife purchased a pair of active wear pants from this NF Outlet on 8/1/2024 and after one washing both hems on the bottom ripped and came apart. She called the outlet and they wanted her to return them to the store which is almost 2 hours away. After calling VF/North Face corporate they wanted us to ship the item to them at our expense and they would decide what they would do. Now I realize why their reviews are so bad! Since VF bought NF the quality and customer service levels have become awful!

The staff always have good customer service. Plenty of spacious store to move around. I shop in store rather than online.

The one item I came for lol

Staff was very friendly and answered a lot of my questions. The store was full of merchandise, a large selection to choose from.

Excellent selection of products, helpful and friendly staff. Final price not always obvious - you need to ask.

Check to make sure they remove the security tag from your items before leaving. Such an annoying inconvenience.

I only became aware of this small regional chain in October while shopping them in Roanoke, Va. I…read morewas so impressed by their upscale inventory of outdoor clothes and more. So when I learned they had a store much closer to me I had to shop them with an agenda of purchasing a new vest. The store is located in Merchants Square and replaced was a long standing independent that was beloved, "The Craft House". That part is sad to learn. The sales lady Ally was over the top friendly when I initially called to ask about their brands and inventory of vest. They carry Duck Head which I was specifically looking at. She held a few sizes for me with low inventory. When I came in she knew who I was and pulled the two out to try on. The sizing chart for the Fremont style vest had me in a Large. They calculate weight and chest size. It was correct. Unfortunately no sales on this luxury brand. I browsed the store and found more and more to purchase for myself and gifts. The Cotopaxi backpack for my daughter heading to Europe this Spring seemed perfect. I'm draw to quality and they had all the best brands for outdoors. I also looked at a Patagonia coat and Vuori pants. Unfortunately not my size. I also looked at their socks and shoes. Love that they offer Feetures socks a total favorite. Also Blundstone shoes from Australia. Checkout of all my items was smooth on a card. My items have a generous return policy of 30 days. I will absolutely return again in the coming year. If there is one negative it's the price point.

Obviously you can buy all the stuff they have online somewhere. Having a shop willing to stock…read morethings and let me see them locally IS valuable to me--and I will buy from them whenever I can. The staff there are quite helpful and knowledgeable, and can make your time in there short and sweet. I did buy some things I shouldn't have, like some strange squeeze bags for lotions or stuff--that exploded on the trail. But, bottom line--it's a great shop with tons of gear. I like it and I hate everything pretty much.

I've been to the Campus Store over the years, but last time was early eight years or more. The building adjacent to Merchants Square is owned by Colonial Williamsburg. The second floor is now vacant, so they have eliminated the book aspect of the store. Supposedly CW will do something with the space, but it's been empty five years ago. Parking is nearby by surface l, or garage at a fee My wife and I browsed and e joyed the displays and merchandise. Ultimately we only made a single purchase. Check out was friendly. This is where the Tribe fans go to buy merchandise.

This is where you bought your t-shirts, your pennants, your car decals, etc. They have a vast supply of everything W&M. They also have a vast supply of fraternity and sorority stuff, so this is also where sisters bought their Kappa Delta flip-flops and Chi Omega shoelaces. Not so sure what the frat guys were buying...Lambda Chi shot glasses? Kappa Sigma beer mugs? I never joined up, so it's all Greek to me. Get it? All GREEK to me. Wacca wacca. Campus Shop has apparel for every W&M team imaginable, from soccer to gymnastics. They do those promotions where you can get a W&M cap and t-shirt -- preselected with no substitutions, of course -- for under twenty bucks. You can get a diploma frame with the Wren Building. W&M jewelry. Keychains. Even some Colonial Williamsburg memorabilia. Prices are more reasonable over here than at the bookstore, so it's a good spot to pick up your souvenirs or a "W&M Dad" sweatshirt for your father. Don't laugh -- pops loves his.
