I requested a call about a week before by voicemail, then I checked in by email. That email was returned a few days later. The person that emailed me said they had the previous order but just needed some quick clairifications before they could start. I sent pictures and clarifications. Waited a week and nothing, left a VM and an email, nothing. Almost three weeks later I emailed them explaining that I would appreciate a response. They responded by saying they could not complete the sign, had no interest in the job, and had no resources for this kind of work. I literally ask to repeat my last order with another name. What a collosal waste of my time. A month of waiting and at the end of the day they were too lazy to respond or follow up, sign business must be good.

She asked for a floor plan and questionnaire ahead of time and came prepared to jump into our session. The session lasted about an hour and a half and her price was very fair. She mapped out the baguas in our home and then we toured and she suggested small tweaks we could make with what we had to accentuate the meridians. She ended the session with an energy clearing. We immediately felt the difference in the ambiance of our home and we both feel like we're more focused and harmonized in our space. We worked with local, family-owned CG&S on an exterior renovation - updating our 1940s home to…read moreCraftsman style. Our home had no original details, but did have a lot of the original exterior materials. The team had to meticulously remove our particle board siding in sections and reseal as there were no exterior walls/wrap and our insulation was just under the siding; shim the roof level while regarding interior drywall as we don't have attic space; shim walls to align with varying depths of windows hung by another company; re-run electrical; and then add wood siding, two new decks with detailed craftsman woodwork, a custom front door, and other finishes. Working on our older home was harder than starting fresh and they handled it with care. Handling permitting was also in their remit and we were glad it was. Our architect handled forms for historical buildings/neighborhoods, city arborists, easements, and other zoning debacles. When we were limited by the city's requirements for expanding our porch, our architect adjusted our plans as best she could to still have a beautiful outcome. We also appreciated most of the subcontractors selected for the job. While the budget was hard to talk about up front, we didn't have any change orders due to surprises - unlike our interior reno project. With any long term renovation project it was important to stay in communication, keep notes, and ask questions and most stressful moments were quickly addressed by the team. The CG&S owners still invite us to their annual tamale dinner and treat us like family. We hope to do another project with them some day!

I purchased a home that had floors installed by Luma Hardwoods / The Hardwood Agency (he seems to go by multiple business names and actual names as referenced by other reviewers). I had some water damage and reached out to Luma to match the floors that were previously installed in the home. Then things unfolded as described below: January 12 - I paid for the order in full (that was a mistake) and Will said the order would be stateside in a month (supposedly it was coming from Italy, but I think that was actually untrue as well) Feb 6, Feb 16, Feb 20, Feb 23, March 3 - Texted, called, Emailed - no response from Will March 4 - He finally responded and said the order had not shipped from Italy and he agreed to cancel my order (since he couldn't provide tracking or any kind of accurate update on when the product would ship or arrive) March 4 - March 22 - Emailed, called, texted asking for a refund - no response. I am currently disputing this with my bank and will be joining the list of other customers Will has scammed by opening a small claims case in Travis County. Please don't make the same mistake I did and get scammed by this company. EDIT: Will has been saying my refund is "in process" for weeks now, over a month after my order was cancelled and he agreed to provide a refund. I have filed a police report, reported him to Better Business Bureau, filed an IC3 claim, and will continue to spread the word in the hopes that he doesn't rip anyone else off.

It went in similar pattern where he delayed the stock delivery by more than 2 weeks after multiple follow ups , he finally gave up saying your stock is not delivered and you can opt for cancellation and refund. He never sent the cancellation order and doesn't reply to phone calls or messages. This looks like completely fraudulent company where we are now filing a suit against this company. This is all such an emotional stress and lot of financial loss. Plz take my review in all sincerity and don't get into this trap. I was a TriStar costumer for many years until I had a break in and found out this company is a scam as my home isn't connected to a monitoring call center even when I've been paying them for years. They scam austin residents by charging monthly monitoring service fee but they don't provide a monitoring service, other words, they don't connect your home to a monitoring call center. I only found out that my home security isn't working after I had a break in and they failed to deliver the only thing they are paid to do and that is security monitoring. Basically TriStar collects monthly dues but never actually connect your home to a monitoring service. They collect money for no service. After a quick email exchange with the owner he confirmed and admitted that my home isn't connected to a monitoring service yes continued to charge me monthly and isn't willing to credit my account or fix the monitoring service. The owners (husband and wife) are flat out rude and disrespectful to their long time customers. They blamed me for why my home isn't connected to a monitoring service while I am paying them to monitor my home. They claim that they told me that my alarm was not working two years prior (no record of the communication) however they thought it was ok to continually charge me monthly fees when they know they are not providing the security service they claim to provide. If you are running into the same issue with this company please reach out to me. Feedback to exiting or future customers: I would highly suggest business and home owners not to use this company as I really think they are a scamming austin residents. They will collect your money but in reality will not provide and real service. If you want to keep your family or business safe try to use a legit home security company. Feedback to the couple owning this company: I would really suggest that you put your customers first, listen to what they are telling you and do everything you can to retain them. You blame your customers for the service you are paid to provide but you don't. And last, collecting money from people when you don't provide the service you are paid to do and told your customers you will provide is fraud.
