Had to swing by to pick up some things for work (my boss has an exec membership). The store was spacious; of course, it's a warehouse. Everything you could need in life-in bulk. Long and I mean insanely long checkout lines BUT the cashiers speed you right through. Super busy and packed with people. Clean store. Clean bathrooms. Last but not least, the $1.50 hot dog combo. I couldn't even eat half of it, I was so full. Also, it may or may not have given me the bubble guts later in the day. Hahahahaha.

PROS: (1) Low prices…read moreand lots of organics in fresh, frozen, and packaged sections. (2) Has reportedly switched to phenol-free receipt paper. HEB has not. CONS: (1) Miles and miles of plastic packaging. A lot of it is very affordable and with the executive membership check that comes home year end it makes Costco totally worth it. We have gotten tires for our cars here and also have Costco insurance. I love the one stop shop feature with Costco. We recently had an incident outside the tire shop where someone kept honking and cursing at us for taking too long to get air. We had a Costco employee run to defend us and ask the person to back off. Love the courtesy of the staff. In the clothing section where everything with a big pile of clothes, the staff didn't get angry except helped us sort through the pile to find our size. We'd go back and continue shopping for experiences like this.

What a deal! There was a glitch on the pre scanned counter but three people jumped in to help until it got sorted. So many great deals! Perfect spot! Like every other Costco, it has a dining area inside and we often get the cheese pizza. Not everytime it's great I would say; burnt sometimes. When it comes to shopping, it's the best as the quality remains the same and the produce are fresh always. Also, there's plenty of tastings on weekends especially saturdays.

I pulled the old motor off to get the amperage and RPMs, but then had trouble finding someone that would sell me a replacement. I finally found these guys and the price of the motor seemed very reasonable (1/4 HP, 1075 RPM, $65 + tax). They cautioned me to ensure power was off and to take pictures of the wiring, both of which I had already done, but I appreciated them giving the advice. Word of advice: I got the AC back up and working with only one hitch, the fan rotation was wrong. I noticed it felt hot while standing next to it and didn't think that was normal, a quick internet search confirmed it. The motor was turning the wrong way, blowing air down and into the compressor unit instead of up and out. A bad capacitor will apparently cause the motor to turn in the wrong direction, but in my case, the motor is reversible and I just had to swap the yellow and black wires.

That's how I found Johnstone Supply. They stock and sell wholesale supplies to the refrigeration and HVAC (that's Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning, not vacuum cleaners, in case you were wondering) contractors, and they will also sell to the public. If you're buying a number of units, they'll give you a better price. I brought in a sample of each HVAC register, and the salesman measured it for me and checked the grid to make sure I was buying the right design and size. He gave me a bulk discount that was below what the big boxes wanted for their lesser quality products. Great service! FYI, they also have a new store in Lakeway/Hudson Bend, off Hwy 620.

The 3d turquoise clover in 10 mm *which also, was 8 mm~one stone was not usable. These are stones not on a strand but instead orders of 5 or 10 counts. I expect nicer quality. A strand will have stones that are chipped, not cut or drilled properly but if I am purchasing a loose stone, I want to be able to use it. I dont mind the stone size-I am using g the others for some pretty earrings but sizing is off, on everything. I am ordering a couple more strands because I am making very pretty bracelets but I cannot tell a customer, with confidence, these are genuine stones, so I can't price accordingly and will not break even for these collections at this point. I just dont want to lose money on returns or bad publicity. So I will say this-if you are purchasing for art/crafts and your gifting or personal enjoyment, this is a terrific hub to purchase. It is known for its crisp carbonation and distinctive mineral profile. Topo Chico appears unique to the South, I believe, a I have not seen it anywhere else. Topo Chico is fan favorite in Texas especially. As the story goes, the water's origin is tied to a legend involving the daughter of Emperor Moctezuma, who was said to have been totally revitalized after drinking from the spring at Cerro del Topo Chico.
