I am writing to complain about my experience at the Gardena 14000 Crenshaw Blvd location. There was a gentleman at the register that was helping her round numbers off so I assumed they got it correct. I received the call and my screens were ready about a week later. I go to pick up my screens from Long Beach California, bring them home to my surprise. They do not fit. I immediately called the store and let them know that the screens were not fitting properly. When I get to the store I got the opportunity to speak with the manager, Miss Sabrina. She was very pleasant very apologetic and sincere. I also noticed on the rescreened that because of the way the screens go back into the window that the tabs were on the wrong side, Miss Sabrina wrote a note for the screens to have the tabs placed on the correct side. She also noticed my small window screen, which was a a new screen was thicker and taller compared to the original one. She lets me know that we'll make it a priority and will give you a call when they're ready. I believe I dropped them off on maybe Wednesday or Tuesday and I hadn't heard from anyone over the weekend. Here comes Monday. I just called to check on the screens to see what the progress was. I didn't get the associates name on the other end of the phone, but they did mention that the screens were ready. I had my mother pick up the screens because I was not feeling well. She brought the screens back to me I immediately knew that they were the same screens simply because the tabs were not placed on the correct side. The small screen did not fit back in the window again I get on the phone and complained again. Miss Sabrina says she's so sorry we're gonna go ahead and give you your money back. I had a question I wanted my screens re-screened and I wanted to know based off the originals. Would they be able to do it . the manager Lila stated we've done your screens two different times and we're gonna go ahead and give you back your money, no one looked at the size of the screens, the height of the screens to make sure they were the same. No one looked at the tabs to make sure the tabs were on the correct side of the screen. I am simply writing to let you know the service was poorly done. I had the SKU so we looked it up online. I guess it's just me but I'd prefer them to go look with me for efficiency and customer service. My beef is with harbor freight in general. I ordered a little flat bed cart called a "folding platform truck" and all the screws and washers were already installed but the wheels weren't. I didn't have the right bolt size to even take them off. It was very tedious. I ended up going to autozone and purchasing those socket racket things. I'm all for installing my own stuff but the way it came was not cool. It wasn't even installed properly. I get that they inserted the washers and screws so it wouldn't get lost but a ziploc and tape with it wrapped around the item inside the box works just fine. Getting into Triggs can be tricky due to the freeway. Overall not sure I like the location of this HF. It looks easy enough to access but it isn't. I'll probably go to another one. Gus' Hardware Store is the place to be. First of all, the…read morelocation is great. There is a huge parking lot so that parking is the least of your troubles. The building is not hard to find and easily spotted with the huge sign as well! When you enter, you will find a huge selection of items from paints to chains. You'll find everything you need. Because it is a huge store, you might need some help from some of the employees. Be sure to ask because they are more than happy to help you out. They have great customer service and often are stocked up with certain items according to season. During the summer, they made sure to have a plethora of fans and air conditioning to be purchased. You can tell the employees and owners want you to have the items that you need. Also if you have huge orders for business and they don't have enough in store, you can make orders and Ms. Lee will help you out. Overall, it's a wonderful small business that you can tell that the employees really care about you and you getting your items. Appreciate everything that Gus' is doing.
