I purchased rotors and brakes, pulled the front wheels and noted the brakes had conservatively more than 60 percent of life left. I took photos, showed the service writer and wrote that off to an inexperienced lube tech. Yesterday my wife took the car in for an oil change and was told she needed tires. (Although they rotated the tired presently installed on the car) The tires are well within limits, and I attribute that to a very cautious mechanic. Next, we were told we needed a cabin and engine air filter for $121.95 That set off a red flag. I went through my receipts and realized I had personally changed said filters less than 4 thousand miles ago. Cost in parts $27.17 I suppose I should have gone with her to have the car serviced, but I shouldn't have to. They are cheats and liars.
