This place does not use sterile peel pack tools. I did not see a UV box either. I'm so not comfortable with that but unfortunately came here with a friend who booked this pedi appointment. I consistently had to ask them to douse their tools with alcohol prior to usage. Im honestly hoping I don't get a infection of any sort but I do not recommend this place due to their non sterile technique. the sinks don't have covers and the cleaning in between isn't that thorough. The foam toe spacers used were clean and new, but even the nail file, foot brush and all is worn and dirty. These this are impt to monitor when coming to a salon! Only part that I enough at this place was the foot massage which was thorough and proper. The pricing for this place is "not cheap", it's pretty average priced so it's not that I even a advantage i consider with the services received. Gel mani and regular polish pedi is $55, which more than my usual place that uses sterile tools in Westwood, NJ. All in all, this is not my place of choice at all, and I urge all that visit to be cautious with the tools used! I'm grateful to those that work there, i appreciate accommodating with my lateness and overall service however please enforce better hygienic protocols. read more

Since I don't frequent salons enough to have a go-to place, this place was recommended to me by my MIL. It's a simple place, with about a dozen medi stations and a dozen pedi stations. We walked in on a Friday with no issues getting services right away... I love me a pedi. It seemed well staffed, since a few others came in afterwards and there was enough employees to accomodate everyone at once. There's a language barrier, but I was able to communicate what I needed (relaxing pedi but needed to be done in 30min or less). There's TV to keep me occupied while I enjoyed the vibrations from my massage chair. I walked away with nice red toenails, smoother feet and a mental refresh. Lasted well over 4 weeks. read more

Been trying this place off and on for many years and the service is hit or miss - even if you go to the same nail tech. Its clean though and they are accommodating with fitting you in last minute. Thats about it as far as upsides. Regular polish selection is stale, but gel colors are plentiful. Today a nail tech got loud because I said one nail (which I got fixed today) wasnt as smooth as the rest. I think a smooth nail is the bare minimum one might look for with a gel manicure. So I took it. 2 weeks later when I went to refill it she didn't want to properly take off the dip. She insisted on filling it the easy way (same color). Then charged extra. My 3 rd time I made an appointment with Jolie and when I arrived she passed me off to another for my pedicure then couldn't do my dip because she took another person. After my pedi I had to wait 40 min as she is the only one that can do dip or acrylic according to her. I opted to just take my nails off and paint then as I have a party to attend. Jolie Nails isn't what it used to be. The service is very poor. Everything is outdated in this establishment including the. nail polishes. No more "pick a color" when you tell them manicure pedicure. They want to use gel all the time. Low staff, which means they might not take you if you don't have an appointment. The sanitary conditions are a bit sketchy too because I don't see or smell any cleaning products around the salon. I made an appointment with Tina once to get a fill in and I thought she did a great job at first. Two days later, my thumb nail chipped due to the filing that she did (too thin). I went back and she re-did the nail, but made it different than all the other nails. I explained to her that I wasn't satisfied because she rushed the job. She had to attend to another client, so I understood that part. However, she started catching an attitude and told me to come back at 7pm. I googled the nail salon hours and that's closing time. My experience at Jolie nails was an awful one from the minute I made my appointment, I made 3 appointments for waxing, when we got there and was asked if I could be helped I stated we had an appointment with Jennie, all of the workers started talking amongst themselves in their language as we just stood there, we were then escorted to the back by someone other than Jennie, when I stated my appointment was with Jennie the woman repeatedly asked me if I knew her and tried to provide our services, I stated if Jennie was not available for our appointment that I would be leaving, they told me to sit and wait a few minutes then, Jennie finally came to meet us, our experience was awful and painful, our wax was applied to our lip and cheeks. An apology was never offered to us and the workers continued to speak in their language while we sat their dumbfounded. I am done with Jolie nails, I will not be going back. read more

My nails were desperately overgrown and in bed of a polish change and trimming. I knew I wouldn't have time once I got back home by me so I found this little place while my daughter was at practice. Now, I ALWAYS panic when going to a new place. My nails don't grow easily or quickly so I'm a bit nervous to see boe they will get my gel off (note: I hate when they scrape carelessly at what is stuck bc I feel that has taken huge chunks out of my nails in the past and left them thin, weak, and severely damaged). But, I was pleasantly surprised that Julie (booth 9) soaked them off and then gently filed off anything else that was stuck. Next, there's always the shape! Again, I've gone places where they carelessly file and your nails end up all different lengths and they are not really the shape you want. Anyway, she cut and filed them and they couldn't be more perfect if this was my regular mail person! She did an absolutely WONDERFUL job on my nails! I went with 4 stars instead of 5 bc there were full on loud conversations between the technicians that were not in English (I personally just find this disrespectful). This salon is going above and beyond to abide by COVID-19 measures and precautions. They have a great system in place that limits the amount of clients in the salon at any given time. Your temperature will be taken and you must sign in and provide your name and phone number for their records. Everything is sanitized consistently and masks are required. The pedicure and manicure stations also have plastic windows for added protection. The staff is very friendly and customer service is wonderful! read more

I go here for manicures. Jenny is absolutely amazing! She is sincere and dedicated to her job. Takes her time with your nails and I am always amazed at how much detail oriented she is. I trust her completely for my gel manicures. This places tends to get very busy. The other ladies here seem nice too. The appearance of the salon is not as clean and stellar as some other places. But the service is great. I am concerened about cleanliness of the pedicure chairs and instruments simply because it is so busy and I have seen people in and out of there. So I am not sure if they have a chance to disinfect everything, including instruments very thoroughly. I am little extra cautious about my toe nails, so I dont take a chance. But just for manicures, I think this place is superb! Especially Jenny! read more

I have been going to Jolie Nails for over a decade. Both my mom and I get our nails done by Nick. (If he's not available, by Julie.) Nick is the absolute best when it comes to french tips (he airbrushes the white tip instead of painting) and uv fill in. I don't even live in NJ, and I travel to see him once a month to get my nails done. Love! As he is the owner/manager, he does get busy from time to time, so on average, my manicure will take about 70-90 minutes, but it ALWAYS lasts 3-4 weeks. (With French 4 weeks, regular color is 3 weeks.) read more

I have been a patron of Jolie Nails for several years. Over this time frame, the quality of the service has been steadily declining. My most recent visit there will be my last. Despite making an appointment ahead of time, I arrived to find out the person I asked for was "on her way". When I sat down to have my nail polish removed in the interim, I was told I would be going to someone else (as she was never "on her way"). I insisted I would wait, and what proceeded was truly unprofessional. In rather loud fashion, the techs in the salon, led by Maria, began to childishly laugh and discuss my situation. The owner of the salon, Nick, did nothing to appease the situation. He joined in the conversation and attempted to force product on me. At that point, I got up and left. I always make an appointment, and usually I may have to wait about 10 minutes or so. I think that may be pretty standard, so it doesn't bother me. My mom wanted clear nail polish and my mom felt it was dull and not shiny and so she asked for another coat and the lady said no and that if she wants it shiny she should have done gel. I looked at close nail salons and this came up better than most. Went in today, lots of people considering how early it was. Sat down right away told them what I needed and asked for price and they said they only do gel color not gel over color and it was $32! I usually pay $25 at my normal place so I figure maybe it's something different they do so its expensive. But it wasn't it was similar to how my normal place did it but Jolie nails was worse! The technician (Julie or Judy) didn't really talk to me so I figure she wants to concentrate. She got up several times to take the phone and do the appointments even though the guy in the front could have done it and had the book. She never even apologize or anything so it took longer than I wanted. She was so fast to do all the buffing and other things that she was rough on my cuticles. Then when she put the acrylic she thinned it out with the liquid. She continued to buff and file even AFTER she put the color on. My nails look so thin and she didn't remove all the polish and acrylic around my nails. My nails are sooo thin now I have to be super careful and she didn't care that I didn't like my nails. This place is ok but it needs to make some MAJOR changes. First off, the staff speaks in their language all the time! They laugh so loud and appear to be mocking the customers the entire time that I was there. The staff is unprofessional and their talking takes away from the relaxation that people look for when they go to a nail salon. Their rude laughter and constant talking makes me feel like I'm in a supermarket. The next problem with this place is that it is way too hot in the summer. The owners are so cheap that they refuse to turn on the air conditioner even when it is 90 degrees outside. The only reason why I still go to this salon is because of Nancy. She is the sweetest lady that I have ever met. She is so gentle and definitely takes her time to make sure that you have a pleasant experience. The staff at this salon is so RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL They will talk about you in their language the entire time and ridicule you. They all charge their own prices so there is never consistency. As my sister and I only wanted polish changes they refused to take us because our services were less then a full set. The only person I HIGHLY recommend is Linda in the pedicure section (she is polite, professional and takes her time. Recently I was out with my mom and I went with her to her nail appointment. I was not planning on getting anything done but my mom was insisting that I get a pedicure. Let me just give some background info here. I am so not a fan of anyone touching my feet just because they are so ticklish. The owner, Nick, is very friendly. He saw what my mom was trying to do and kept asking me, "are you sure?". A pedicure is only $20 so I said OK, just one more thing I can cross off my bucket list. The shop has more than enough stations and workers so they can accommodate walk-ins. My pedicure was done by Julie. She saw I was uncomfortable and a first timer so she taught me how to control the massage chair. Let me tell you that massage chair did wonders for my back. She was took her time and really focused on the foot massage. While my pedicure was shorter than the other clients there at the time, that was ok. Mom gets her nails done by Vivian. She does a great job. I am always impressed with my mom's nails. The best way to get in with Vivian is to schedule an appointment. She seems to be very busy. Also, my mom has had her nails done by Nick, the owner. The ultimate bonus is this shop is located next door to a bakery. So after you are done getting pampered you can go and get a sweet treat! read more

I have not had my nails professionaly done in quite some time, and just moved to the area looked online and they had good reviews so I gave it a try...... It was nice inside,nothing special but average for a nail salon. They quickly told me what booth to goto. Then this lady walks over and sits down eating corn on the cob, put it down on the table and looked at my nails. She then got up (took her corn with her) washed her hands and came back cornless. She had her Bluetooth in her damn ear talking in her native language till it was time for polish(I got a full acrilic set). So I was more than a little annoyed. She did a nice job, just not sure I will be going back to them so after a week, they did my nails so thin that they are all now cracked, i now have super glue on every nail. now i can honestly say i will NEVER go back!!!! read more

Will not return to this establishment. The "technician" who did my full set took about 2 hours to complete. I had to stop her halfway because I needed to get my eyebrows done next door because they were about to close. She then asked me if I was really going to come back, as if I was going to leave without my nails being polished and wasn't going to pay them. I then saw one of the other nail techs walk by I guess to see if I really went to get my eyebrows done. Very rude and offensive.
