I returned today, a week later for a gentle microdermabrasion facial I booked with Christie and was serviced right on time. The spa rooms are in the back of the salon and the area is separated by a lace curtain. Once in the facial room, it felt like any other spa, not like a strip mall nail salon. Christie was professional, and excellent in providing the service. The added bonus of the shoulder, back and décolleté massage while the collagen mask baked was A+. I did need minor extraction and she was able to do them without using any tools. If I were a local, this would be my primary salon for nail and body care. Thank you Ellie and Christine! --four stars because the pedicure service has a few issues. Communication with the tech was a bit off-putting. She has wasn't able to explain the spa pedicure options and wasn't able to tell me in detail what each included. She kept referring me to posters on the wall. Both of them take their time and always stop to ask if you are comfortable and happy with the shape, color, etc. They place extra emphasis on prepping your nails before polish, which is one of the reasons I think my nails last so long. Please keep in mind that it is only the two of them working, so they may not be able to take you on short notice. Some were great for a short while but after some time started falling short of my standards. That has not been the case here. I have been booking services at Lavo for around 5 months now and my nails have never looked better. For starters, they have an all-star receptionist. She is so kind and helpful and on top of her job! They are a very busy salon and yet I never have trouble booking an appointment. They are as accommodating as can be. Even when they miss my phone call, I instantly receive a call or text back. I have been serviced by several nail technicians and they are all so very talented. I never bother booking with a specific tech because I know that no matter who I see, they will do an amazing job I was recommended doing soft gel manicures and it has been the best decision ever made. My career is very physical so i would often have a lot of wear and tear on my nails but not with soft gel. The gel polish never chips and my nails have never been stronger. I am usually able to go 4 weeks with my nails still looking great but ready for a fill. I love this salon and as long as I live within a drivable distance I will never change. They are cash or zelle/venmo only. So be prepared. And in my opinion they are charging fairly for services considering the quality of the work. Thanks Lavo!

As it was a bit slow, Amy took me immediately for a regular pedicure and Dip powder on my hands. For my pedicure, she used brand new tools right out of the package and loved how clean they were. I will say that if you're expecting an over the top scrub down on the bottom of your feet-- this may not be it but they still did a good job in other areas. Amy did follow through with a great foot massage which was greatly appreciated. As for my hands, her attention to details and loved how natural my hands turned out. She was efficient and fast too. I left there pretty content as a new customer-- I'll definitely return.
