I stumbled on this tree farm and now it's an annual tradition to go and pick out a tree. You can check out a saw and cut your own, have them cut one for you, or buy a precut tree. They pull the tree all together for you, offer to help tie it to your car and the prices are extremely reasonable. It's a wonderful family owned local business that really starts the season off in a joyous way. We won't go anywhere else!

They made it easy to know how to get to the trees we wanted (the tractor ride was reminiscent of pumpkin patches but for Christmas trees ). They have precut trees for anyone who doesn't want to cut their own tree and they had a nice selection with several different sizes. After running through the trees for about an hour we finally found our tree and it is so full and absolutely gorgeous. It was a great experience and worth the money considering it cost less than buying a tree at a store and we now have a fresh, just cut tree at home.

For a small fee there is face painting and pony rides. The "haunted" hayride is $4 per person and a nice long ride. My 5 year old finds it a bit too spooky but I think it is suitable for most ages. They have a country store and a number of food vendors. We loved the pumpkin rolls and apple butter! Don't forget to take a free short hayride to the pumpkin patch amongst the pine trees. They have pumpkins of every shape and size that you pay for by the weight.
