Brian in service handled it, notified me it was the starter, and it would be covered under my extended warranty. They replaced the started in a very timely matter. I wish I could give a glowing review of this dealership, but I cannot. I can say that our sales…read morerep Cameron was nice. We purchased a Certified Preowned 2022 Grand Cherokee 4xe (remember, it's a CPO with a 125+ point "inspection"). Sales process was pretty easy, but inordinately long. Hours longer than I've spent at other dealerships. Once you sign the papers, they hand you a thumb drive with all your copies. I thought that was a pretty efficient way of doing things, but it makes it so you can't thumb through your copies. (Is that on purpose?) I Didn't realize till a few days later at home that the financing paperwork wasn't included on the drive and they bold faced lied to me during the process to the tune of about $4,000. When speaking with the finance office, I asked in no uncertain terms if it was a Mopar Flexcare Warranty (used those exact words) and was told it was. Shockingly, they lied. It's an aftermarket warranty where I was charged an additional $1000 for a "Auto Armour Screen Coating" over and above the $3,000 aftermarket warranty. Got in touch with Auto Armour to see what the product actually was and while chatting with them, we came to the conclusion that it was never even applied. I tried calling the dealer to cancel both products since they weren't what I asked for and of course got thrown into some random VM box. Left a message, waited 24 Hrs - No call. Left another message and then sent a message to them using the form on their website. Received a reply from Ryan Arkens the Sales Manager, he said that he appreciated that I reached out before leaving an online review and that "I'll have finance reach out via email to go over specifics today" well, that was 5 days ago, you blew it Ryan. During the wait, I've left 2 more messages and my wife left another. We've been ghosted ever since we signed the papers. Called the lender to make sure that the numbers we were given at the dealership matched what the lender had, luckily they matched. After owning it for a couple of weeks now I realize that Boucher doesn't "Inspect" their CPO's too well. How you don't know a CPO doesn't have working HEAT, I'll never know. I swear Stevie Wonder did the inspection. No heat, broken cupholders, no working front park sensors, a buzz from the passenger door (there is a TSB on it), Service HV warning light has come on, TPMS system flaky. Those are just things that have jumped out at me, I haven't gone searching for issues. It already has an appointment for service at another dealership, I could only imagine what they'd screw up if I had it serviced there. This was my first, and last, purchase from a Boucher Group Dealership.

UPDATE: Our first visit to Janesville Kia was delightful. We talked about a certain car, took a…read moretest drive, lightly talked about numbers, but ultimately walked away from the deal. After some thinking, my mom decided she wanted to get the car. With the numbers we had discussed (sale price of the Seltos, and the trade-in value for her vehicle), it worked with her budget. And that's where the delight ended. We got back to the dealership and things changed. Oh, the sale price? Not so much - what they post on their website is every possible discount that someone COULD get (but probably won't). My mom isn't a recent grad, nor did she serve in the military or recently lease a KIA, etc. So just like that, the price went up. I asked why that hadn't come up before, and he (surprisingly, honestly) told me that the dealership doesn't wan them to "surprise" customers with that detail until the purchase process has begun. Very predatory... Oh, and the trade-in numbers they were speculating previously? That number dropped by a couple thousand dollars (that number was from the guy who evaluated trade-ins, so it should have been accurate). We were ready to walk after the numbers went south. But, after raising our voices and stating how shady everything was, they came around and got us pretty close to the deal we wanted. Why couldn't we just get there sooner without being sleazy? So, why three stars? For one, they had a nice selection and a clean business. The sales guys were very friendly - unfortunately, they had to play with the rules that upper management handed down to them. So while we got what we wanted, and it was nice (at times), the "sleazy car dealership" vibe reared its head and ruined what could have been a great experience.

They texted me leading me on, and then after waiting 3 days I called to speak to someone who could actually help and I guess this dealership lack anyone competent enough to do so. Its been 7 days now, and they had a floor jockey call me talking about Customer Appreciate Week? Could've fooled me with this piss poor communication skills. If they are giving you the run around and your gut is telling you its too good to be true. LISTEN AND GO WITH A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP THAT RESPECTS YOUR TIME AND ENERGY. I went to the dealership one random day this summer and noticed I didn't see my car in the parking lot at all; thought to my self maybe its in the shop. called the next open business day and talked to the same person I've been dealing with and was told no they didn't have any cars in the shop at that time and would get back to me on where my car was. Two days passed and I didn't hear anything so I called again and asked. The answer I got was " oh no I havn't had the time to go out and walk the lot to look for it." hmm real professional. After a few more months I finally got a call saying the part came in, cool except for the fact they lost my one and only key. I was then told "Not to big of a deal ill just have to get you two new keys made." After about a week with no calls or info again I called and was told " Oh the service manager has been gone and is coming back soon so I can get this resolved." Then 3 weeks go by and nothing. Finally fed up I called the service manager and He had no idea about my situation and got to the bottom of it...My service advisor called me roughly 30 min later and said he walked over to her desk and found the key almost instantaneously and of course where they had looked numerous times before ......

Several years ago I had a positive experience when I bought a used car for my daughter so I decided to go back when I wanted to get a vehicle for myself. Good selection of very nice vehicles and the process was easy. What made the experience even better was the Sales Person - Joe Zipperer. He is what I wanted in a salesperson - frank, personable, knowledgeable on the vehicles, credible and none of the stereotypical "Used Car Salesperson" pushiness. He got me in a great vehicle and at a fair price. I recommend Gordie Boucher and I highly recommend Joe Zipperer.
