Don't waste your money and time going anywhere else…read more Had a shop in Plainfield (you figure out the name) working on the car previously. The other shop had me by the Short Hairs as they had screwed it up so badly this past spring I COMPLETLY rewired the car. Originally the previous shop was provided with a new harness and it was such a mess when I took it back the guy that wired it asked who created such a mess. Surprised the car didn't catch on fire. Had to buy another harness as well as replaced the swap LS2 harness out. Add to this the 4-link wasn't rotating correctly which Blackdog straightened out. The other shop also fabed up an exhaust system which fell off on the way to Blackdog, it was replaced by Iggy's, this is what they do and what they have been doing for more than 50-years. Since getting the car back from Blackdog my stomach isn't turning anymore and the car is actually becoming a joy to drive. The rear end gear is howling to beat the band, this is yet another install by the other shop, it will be replaced in the next week. I have documented ALL of the issues resolved that were created by the shop in Plainfield and since corrected, anyone up for a Class Action Lawsuit? Lesson learned, DON'T make the same mistake I did unless you have the money to keep tossing out the window and the stomach to take it. Just start out at Blackdog!

And now that they bought out Quiet Woods they just use the disclaimer that they are trying to just make things right with the customers from the "old store" but have no obligations to them. I wouldn't buy a camper or RV from here ever again. And I certainly will never use their service centers again. I guess there's no grace period after you buy the camper. shipping a car stinks. it's hard to get any transparency about the process. as i understand it, in…read morethe vast majority of situations, you're basically hiring a broker to go on central dispatch or similar, list your car, and get a carrier to match their bid. if they underquote, the car sits, because carriers will take the higher paying jobs. i'm not an expert and i might be mistaken, but i'm guessing the price differences between brokers reflect both (a) how big their fee is but also (b) how much they're bidding (and by extension how much you're paying the carrier for prioritization/to get your car loaded faster). i'm guessing the bigger brokers may have some negotiated relationships with carriers (or their own carrier business) that also factor in. i bought a car from a dealership out of state and needed it shipped home because i didn't want to fly and drive. because covid. car was in a small coastal city and i wanted it delivered to near chicago. not the most common route, as i understand it. tci came in at just about the lowest quote for the job. i was a little wary but saw they had a lot of reviews on google, transportreviews and BBB so i decided to take the chance. I emailed with Rob and he gave me a call. he said the quote might be a little low but he thought the car could get picked up within 3 days (otherwise i could just cancel) and that he'd be in touch. car wasn't picked up within the 3 days. but they didn't hide the ball and didn't make any excuses (though they could've pointed out that it's not the most common route). i could've gone to a different broker. Rob kept trying, and he got the car delivered within a week of my signup. it even wound up shipping enclosed at no additional cost to me. your mileage may vary, but i had a very good experience with TCI and would use again.

They took pictures of the whole truck upon picking it up and clearly showing No damage of grill or torn sidewall of tire . But apon receiving it was clearly wrecked. Calling management and reporting this with their own pictures and dening it blaming it on the company they hired not me. Both parties saying either should pay for it but neither doing so!! Sadly they lost a Great Return Customer. Sadly that they aren't professional enough to admit there responsibility of a shipper when things go wrong.
