Communication was timely and always responsive . They practice with integrity and followed through leading to a very successful outcome. I highly recommend them! Prior to Martin and Mark, 4 other attorneys turned me away. I felt so defeated and unheard. Venardi & Zurada took the time to hear me out. Zero Communication: Previous Attorney Quit Mid-Case Without Warning, Constant Delays, and…read moreDisrespectful Staff! Just because this firm sponsors the 49ers football team does not mean anything--how they conduct business is deeply unprofessional. They take zero accountability, ignore client concerns, and operate like a money grab with excessive 40% fees while showing complete disregard for your well-being. They do not give respect or courtesy to clients. I hired this firm over a year ago and they did NOTHING BUT WASTE TIME AND DELAY MY CASE!!! Critical issues during my time with them: Zero Notice When Staff Quit: I have had two attorneys solely because my first attorney quit. My previous attorney, Francesca Serrano, and case manager, Raquel Herrera, abruptly quit mid-case with zero communication. The firm never gave me the courtesy to let me know my attorney left, forcing me to start over with a newly hired team. I only found out after experiencing missed meetings and calling the office myself. Hostile, Rushed, & Uncaring New Team: After being assigned new attorney Abhi Gill, she didn't even send a welcome email to me and missed multiple meetings between her and I. On August 25th, I called to check if they received medical records so I could update them regarding a severe injury connected to my case. Abhi had an attitude and told me she can't just stop and update me every time because she is really busy. I have only talked to her three times and she is very impatient, and FAKE. When I told her I had just gotten out of the hospital, she didn't show an ounce of empathy or ask how I was doing. Unprofessional Gossip & False Claims: 8/7 I previously spoke with intake specialist Priscilla Sanchez to express frustration about case delays and starting over. According to Abhi, Priscilla engaged in "he-said, she-said" gossiping and made false claims. Abhi then claimed Priscilla told her I called my previous attorney a name, which is completely false. I would never disrespect anyone assisting me. When I asked them to review phone recordings for proof, Abhi said she would and I was very prepared to prove her wrong, as it has never occurred, Liar! Delays & Retaliation Instead of Accountability: In May at their Walnut Creek office, medical records were promised to be ordered, yet they sat on them until July--taking nearly three months just to request basic records. Case manager Mars Paysinger does not update his clients about the status of the case and when you call to check up on it he treats you like you are a burden. He handled status calls with hostility, and you can tell that he doesn't like the work that he does. When I updated him about my back pain and recent hospitalization, which is very important to my case, he claimed he had no knowledge of it. When I asked if he saw my chiropractor treatment, he became hostile and rushed me off the phone huffing and puffing, because he was caught not knowing basic case facts. I also communicated to him that he is very rude, and he chose to play the victim card because I advocated for myself by telling him about his attitude, respectfully. This gossip and misconduct led me to reach out to Mark Venardi and Director Christy. Receptionist Jocelyn explicitly promised Mark Venardi would call me back, but he never did. Instead, today on August 26th, after I requested a new attorney and case manager, they sent an email dropping my case after over a year of dragging it out. I received no apology for Priscilla's false accusations which I believe that she may have mixed me up with some other client., but my audio recordings prove you cannot trust the team here. They expect to still receive 40% of your settlement for them, prolonging and delaying your case is ridiculous! I have been a client here longer than Abhi worked here. As a client, they are not respectful and they don't care about anything but money. That's probably why the previous attorney & case manager quit. Mark Venardi ignoring his disrespectful staffs behavior is the exact reason he lost multiple high-value cases with me. Today, within minutes of receiving their email, I hired a new law firm that charges significantly lower fees, showed genuine care, and marked my cases (involving TWO commercial vehicles and medical malpractice) as high priority--ordering medical records the very same day. I have always respected all staff with greetings, and excellent mannerism, which I can't say, was reciprocated back to me! Save yourself the stress and run far away from this drama filled firm. Don't accuse a client of slander If you do not have the proof. I was looking forward to an apology from the false accusations of your unprofessional staff Priscilla, Mars and Abhi. Looking at recent reviews, I see that other clients are experiencing the same things that I have. They are losing clients, attorneys. So that should say a lot about what's going on Behind the scenes at this 3-Star law firm! Good riddance

I am a recently laid off longtime managerial public employee over the age of 40 in the Bay Area…read more When I contacted Marjorie Wallace to review my severance agreement I was very frustrated. I did not understand the agreement my employer was pressuring me to sign right away or lose it and be fired and I could not get a response from my management association's attorney whose representation was covered by my dues, they were HORRIBLE!!. Marjorie's confidence and competence when I called her made me decide I wanted to meet with her, even though I had to pay her and I had a "free" attorney through my management association. Marjorie suggested I contact HR about a time extension before we met since as an over 40 employee, by law I was entitled to at least two more weeks to consider the agreement. My management association's attorney did get back to me before I could meet with Marjorie, but the only feedback I got from that attorney was to sign the agreement and that I had 7 days to revoke my signature. Marjorie on the other hand, went through the agreement, paragraph by paragraph making sure I understood it. She came up with a number of more favorable-to-me proposed changes I could take back to my employer, including a novel way to get more money. I didn't get everything she proposed, but I did get more money. Plus I felt so much better about the process after talking to her. She was definitely worth it. I got some of her cards to pass out to other public employees I know and they are all gone now. I would definitely recommend her! --Bay Area Public Employee

Law Office of Robert A. Miller

    (8 reviews)

Continuing from first review…read more.. Robert A. Miller made me subpoena a former roommate in order to get her to be a witness. This was unnecessary as her email to me was sufficient. Additionally, there are many instances where Robert A. Miller and David M. Sternberg revealed that they did not examine all of the evidence that I provided. Robert A. Miller kept stressing issues of my pet cat's bodily functions. There was not a single complaint (no email or text, but only something the landlord wanted to add to her retaliatory eviction) of cat urine smell from my two roommates and their partners. I stated that numerous friends of mine have visited and can be witnesses to support that cat urine smell was never an issue. Robert A. Miller responded that the plaintiff Juliet Welch would then call on the other four downstairs tenants as witnesses of cat urine smell. How can downstairs tenants witness what happens in my upstairs apartment when the units are separate and the downstairs tenants and upstairs tenants are not friends and therefore the downstairs tenants are never invited inside the upstairs unit. Moreover, the downstairs tenants have a senior dog and a new puppy, both of whom require puppy pads and potty training. The downstairs tenants also dogsit. There are multiple animals at the 61 Franciscan Way address. A week before my conference court date, Robert A. Miller and David M. Sternberg required an additional $18,000 in order to represent me, essentially abandoning me. At which point, I asked them to stop work. My new counsel reached a settlement of my staying until the end of December (as opposed to October) and $9000 in new money. The attorney fee agreement clearly states that the $5,000 (the one where I gave $10,000) would ensure the case goes to a jury trial. This is a breach of contract, fiduciary duty, and fraud. Neither Robert A. Miller nor David M. Sternberg went over the retainer fee agreement with me. As a matter of fact, David M. Sternberg did not even sign the retainer fee agreement until August 14th, 2019 after receiving the additional $5,000 (where I gave $10,000). I filed a Ca State Bar Mandatory fee dispute in Feb. 2022. Robert A. Miller answered to serve David M. Sternberg who did not agree to be served until November 2022. Robert A. Miller and David M. Sternberg ignored the CA State Bar Mandatory fee dispute so that the statute of limitations would expire. Robert A. Miller and David M. Sternberg responded after I filed small claims because the CA State Bar Dispute was not going anywhere. I called everyday and left messages and CA State Bar only responded once when I received a call back that they will not discipline attorneys for not answering. At the small claims court date, David M. Sternberg twisted the fee dispute to become legal malpractice to claim a one year statute of limitation. I never used the language of legal malpractice in any of my communication with Robert A. Miller and David M. Sternberg. Robert A. Miller and David M. Sternberg set themselves up nicely so that they can claim that any court proceeding waives my rights to pursue a fee dispute with Ca State Bar. Robert A. Miller and David M. Sternberg are unscrupulous lawyers who are greedy and take advantage of vulnerable clients.

I reached out to the Law offices of Robert Miller to see what steps I could take and what to do next since my requests to the landlord are going unanswered. Mr. Miller called me back within 24hrs of me reaching out and was very thorough in explaining what steps I should take before reaching the point of needing to officially engage legal counsel. Legal fees can add up quickly and I appreciated him pointing me in the right direction during our phone consultation. I intend on following his guidance and because of his willingness to help without my retaining him, when the time comes to engage counsel with this matter, I will absolutely be using his services. Thank you Robert!
