All of the photos are so special to us and truly captured our day. We had a small courthouse wedding but they made it look like an extravagant expensive wedding. They went above and beyond to get as many shots in as many locations as possible in a short amount of time! We loved the portfolio of their work online, so we booked them for our engagement and wedding photos. Lindsay was personable, engaging and upbeat during our engagement photo shoot! Easiest 5 star review of my life. Before our big day, we connected with Jonah and Lindsay and felt so at peace- aka they are chill and personable, but very professional, too. I hate being in front of a camera (too self conscious/awkward) but I didn't worry the day of because they made me feel /that/ comfortable. I felt like they were sensitive to me as the bride, and ALSO to each person they came upon- they are class acts. Everything got sent to us so fast- I don't think we were even home from our honeymoon yet, and it was more than perfect. I kid you not. Even the music they chose for the 12 min video (I'm a musician so this is key and you can go so wrong or cheesy so fast, but somehow-- Im telling you--it's perfect). We will celebrate 4 years of marriage soon, and my husband was laughing at me because I watched the video again, and of course cried happy tears...then just talking about the video 20 minutes later made me cry again. lol. It just was ALL captured from that day- the day, the emotions, the deep commitment and promises we made before God, our family, our friends, all the details, just everything. Where to begin? Let me just say I am not one for having my picture taken. From the second we met Jonah and Lindsay it was like hanging out with friends who just happened to be capturing photos of my (at the time) fiancé and I. The engagement photos came out spectacular. So much so that it was tough to pick our favorite photo to use on the save the dates. Fast forward to our wedding. Between nerves and tight schedules and timelines, it seemed destined to be a struggle to get great photos. I was definitely wrong. They were able to capture our day in a way I would never have dreamed possible. If that wasn't enough, when our wedding planner was less than available during our wedding Lindsay went above and beyond anything any couple could ask of their photography team. She helped move the evening along and even worked with our DJ and wedding party to get things done that should not have been their responsibility. Oh! Did I mention this was after giving birth to their child only a month before our big day? Seriously we could not have gotten more lucky than choosing Jonah and Lindsay. Jonah + Lindsay filmed our wedding in September 2017 and we couldn't be happier with their services! We debated whether or not to have a videographer at all and decided last minute to go for it. Luckily for us, Jonah + Lindsay were available and able to work with us. Although we were initially hesitant whether or not to hire videographers, when we met Jonah + Lindsay on the day of our wedding, we knew we had hired the right ones. They were very fun and easy to work with, non-intrusive, genuine and nice! Jonah + Lindsay do a good job of balancing shooting behind-the-scenes (e.g., during our ceremony, reception) but also providing direction during times appropriate for film shoots (e.g, during the bride & groom photo session). We most appreciate that they were able to capture our family and friends having fun despite the 100 degree weather, and to have filmed so many great moments of our wedding that we can watch for years to come. (Yes! Their work is that good that we actually want to watch our wedding videos - not cheesy, great cinematography, honest, evocative, and beautiful).
