I called…read moreone night when I was in pretty intense pain and their office was closed but I had left a vm in hopes I could get an appt in the morning. I already had a referral for PT from my medical doctor but had been searching for a place that would be a good fit for me with a physical therapist provider that was hands on and attentive during the entire session. Most PT offices usually provide 15 min with the patient, then they patient is on their own. Now I'm not well-versed in physical therapy, but I knew I needed more especially when my pain was worsening day by day despite my efforts to help myself. Not only did I get an appt, but the office called me/texted me back that same night (after hours) to set up an appt and discuss insurance benefits. I was hoping to use my insurance benefits as I had just had surgery. The office reassured me and handled all the insurance hassle that patients do not want to handle. I've only been to the office, but when I arrived I was met by Dr. Park and welcomed into the office, he took my history hisself and quickly He began working on my pain. I felt better, I know my recovery is a lengthy journey at this point, but I hope to be back here often and will update the review as needed. The office is clean and it felt sanitary, which is so important! They have a pleasant atmosphere in the waiting room and inside the treatment rooms. I look forward to working on my condition here. Since the injury happened roughly 10 years ago, I wasn't sure if anyone could help but she quickly diagnosed the issue and realized the ligaments/muscles were weak around my ankle. Running up and down the subway stairs has become a breeze! She explains what she is about to do and those massages Oh My Goodness! She really works those muscles. During sessions, he would constantly talk about his pillow project instead of focusing on my treatment, turning what should have been a therapeutic experience into a sales pitch. What's worse, he texted me at 7 AM on a Sunday morning, essentially sobbing about me not responding to his previous messages about a pillow pre-sale. This level of emotional manipulation is entirely inappropriate for any professional, let alone a healthcare provider. Patients don't deserve to be guilted or harassed outside the office, especially over something unrelated to their care. His self-absorbed and "God-like" mentality was not only off-putting but also entirely unprofessional. It's no surprise his practice closed, and with this kind of behavior, I doubt his pillow project will find much success either.

You find them on Zocdoc stating in network only for them to be Out of network once you do the consultation. If you don't have Acupuncture benefits then they will have you do Chiropractic services so that they can bill the Chiro codes while you'll receive free acupuncture services. Just be mindful if you do have Blue Cross Blue Shield they will charge you Out of network on purpose because the balance bill is higher. When I received the eligibility of benefits it stated I owed thousands of dollars. You call the office and thats when the manager Nancy tells me they don't balance bill the patient. If you are doing an Out of network service you are supposed to charge the patient upfront and then submit to the insurance. Oddly I was told because I have Blue cross Blue Shield that I will receive checks. Once I receive those checks I am to personally take it to the manager so that she can cash in on those checks for the office. I had asked to be in network when I started then saw on my insurance portal that I was being billed out of network under Chiro. I never saw the chiropractor and only did Acupuncture. Every time I would try to speak to the manager the front desk would tell me Nancy wasn't there either in person or when I would call. What type of manager calls out three times a week and why is the owner allowing this.  When I first started coming here I never had to pay a copay under the manager Veronica. How am I being billed out of network but am being charged a Copay. This place is running a fraudulent billing service. If you are charging out of network they are supposed to charge you upfront! When I went to this particular office about a year and a half ago the insurance claims were never submitted until a year later. I looked up this location on Zocdoc to see any changes and I see the Doctor added two more locations. I wonder if the owner knows he may be audited and is using the other two offices as a backup. They also try to sell you Trigger point injections I suppose because it's more money for them. He insists on 2 TPI's per week as opposed to letting a patient choose when to have the injection. I advise others to be very careful which places they choose for health services and don't be fooled by the other reviews that perhaps are simple sold a dream by these snake oil salesmen. This place is gambling on patients' pain issues.
