I'm not sure how they manage to get five-star ratings or what justifies those ratings unless they're made up by the front desk or the manager Nancy is bribing the patients to submit reviews for free services. You find them on Zocdoc stating in network only for them to be Out of network once you do the consultation. If you don't have Acupuncture benefits then they will have you do Chiropractic services so that they can bill the Chiro codes while you'll receive free acupuncture services. Just be mindful if you do have Blue Cross Blue Shield they will charge you Out of network on purpose because the balance bill is higher. When I received the eligibility of benefits it stated I owed thousands of dollars. You call the office and thats when the manager Nancy tells me they don't balance bill the patient. If you are doing an Out of network service you are supposed to charge the patient upfront and then submit to the insurance. Oddly I was told because I have Blue cross Blue Shield that I will receive checks. Once I receive those checks I am to personally take it to the manager so that she can cash in on those checks for the office. I had asked to be in network when I started then saw on my insurance portal that I was being billed out of network under Chiro. I never saw the chiropractor and only did Acupuncture. Every time I would try to speak to the manager the front desk would tell me Nancy wasn't there either in person or when I would call. What type of manager calls out three times a week and why is the owner allowing this.  When I first started coming here I never had to pay a copay under the manager Veronica. How am I being billed out of network but am being charged a Copay. This place is running a fraudulent billing service. If you are charging out of network they are supposed to charge you upfront! When I went to this particular office about a year and a half ago the insurance claims were never submitted until a year later. I looked up this location on Zocdoc to see any changes and I see the Doctor added two more locations. I wonder if the owner knows he may be audited and is using the other two offices as a backup. They also try to sell you Trigger point injections I suppose because it's more money for them. He insists on 2 TPI's per week as opposed to letting a patient choose when to have the injection. I advise others to be very careful which places they choose for health services and don't be fooled by the other reviews that perhaps are simple sold a dream by these snake oil salesmen. This place is gambling on patients' pain issues. read more

The only chiropractor I've ever seen, but has been really helpful in reducing my neck/shoulder pain and improving mobility. Everyone on their staff is incredibly friendly, and with the combination of massages, chiropractic adjustments, and acupuncture, it feels like a mini spa session for your back. I came in to Move Well for a consultation, since I have pretty chronic back muscle pain and wanted to see what I could do about it. The doctor was super thorough in his examination and I could tell he was piecing together what was wrong with me as he had me do a few different movements. I have never had such a comprehensive exam and I learned a lot about my anatomy since he shared all his findings out loud and he went. It was really interesting and gave me some great insight into where my aches and pains were coming from. I next went to the chiropractor, who showed me a slew of exercises I could do (and ones I should not do) to improve my posture and reduce pain. He also let me know that the curve in my spine was a little different than most people, which I was not aware of. The adjustment was great and I felt awesome walking out of there. It is the next day and I feel pretty amazing. This office is out of network for my insurance, which is the only reason I might not be able to keep coming. They were so great, however, I may just consider paying out of pocket. Let me start this review by saying if you're in pain or just looking for a great chiropractor, call Move Well MD right now. After months of fairly intense exercise, I developed a pinched nerve in my neck/back and had numbness/tingling down my arm, in to my hand, and all the way down to my fingers. I couldn't get better on my own, had seen two chiropractors, gotten numerous massages, and acupuncture multiple times. No one diagnosed me properly or could help for months. Until, I found Move Well MD... From the minute you walk in, you can't find a more welcoming and comfortable reception area. There are nature sounds playing in the background and Melanie (the receptionist) couldn't be nicer. She's also great at scheduling, handling insurance, anything you may need. Lucy, the office manager, is great too. She does a little bit of everything, from making sure everything runs smoothly, to nursing, to making sure there's always lemon/lime/watermelon water in the lobby. Okay, now on to the treatment. What makes Move Well MD so great is they have a chiropractor, MD, X-Ray, trigger point injections, PT, massage, acupuncture, and cupping all under one roof. On my first visit, Dr Ben (the chiropractor) took an hour to speak with me, examined me, gave me an X-Ray, and accurately diagnosed me with cervicular radiculopathy (C6/C7). Dr Tzanides (MD) then gave me one of the most thorough physical exams I've ever had and confirmed the diagnosis. Following ~3 months of treatment (taking advantage of everything Move Well MD has to offer), I can now say my pain and numbness/tingling are nearly gone. I plan to continue going to ensure it doesn't come back and for general wellness. I've seen four chiropractors in my life (including the highest ranked on Yelp in NYC) and Dr Ben is the best of them all. He has a great sense for the practice and just gets it. Dr Ben is just a great chiropractor and makes sure everything is running well at Move Well MD. Dr Tzanides (MD) has been great along the way too, giving me trigger point injections each week. He's also just a fun, interesting guy to talk with. Let me not forget about V who nurses and does the PT. She's great too. I found this establishment through Groupon and I couldn't be happier. I was able to easily make an appointment and even though I was using a Groupon I didn't feel as if the staff in any way treated me differently. I arrived at the office and was offered tea. The receptionist was bubbly and upbeat and put me at ease. My massage was relaxing and provided relief to my stiff neck. The doctor was personable and after discussing my medical history and needs went to work. After a few cracks (all par for the course) I felt good as new.
