Unfortunately I found that when you measure for them and order them, being off by even a quarter-inch would be enough to ruin the whole thing, so I wanted to find the best. Enter Mark Obrycki. Mark walked us through every step of the process, helping us choose colors, frames, and explaining what he would be doing to make everything look perfect. He measured, ordered, and installed the shutters for us, and got it right the first time (no easy task!) More importantly, he did all the little stuff. He took his shoes off at the door every time he came in and out of the house without being asked. He dusted off high places in our house we normally wouldn't reach. He was kind, generous, and friendly. He put down cloths to catch wood and drywall dust when he was screwing into our walls and casement. In short, he was a perfect professional. A joy to work with. He has a very calm, kind bedside manner and sort of oozes honesty and forthrightness. It's a rare thing to find. His quote was pretty similar to a lot of the other folks who do shutters, and actually a little lower than most. For the money, I'm sure you can't find better service.
