They then quoted more than $1,000 to repair the damage the shop caused to the paint during the buffing. When we politely asked the shop not charge us to repair damage they caused, Steve Jarmuzek became defensive and argumentative. He argued that burning through the paint "just happens sometimes during buffing" as justification for attempting to charge us full costs and labor to repair the damage. Ultimately he removed the $78 charged for the buffing that damaged the car from the total bill, but continued to refuse to repair the damage unless we agreed to pay for it, in full. At my request, he gave us a business card for the owner, Kenny. Kenny has proven impossible to reach. We have sent Kenny three emails, none of which he has responded to. The number on the business card is the number for the shop, which just brings us back to Steve. I would avoid doing business with this shop at all costs. You could find yourself being told that damage to your vehicle "just happens sometimes" and being asked to pay thousands to repair it.

I got a quote from Thomas Auto Body after I rammed my brand new car into a fire hydrant (you can…read morelaugh) and it was significantly cheaper than other shops in the area. Maybe I was *slightly* swayed by the donut holes and gatorade in the lobby but whatever. They told me they could get the part and that the repair would take four days in total. I received excellent service so I scheduled my drop off date and got things figured out with my insurance. I want to start by saying my repair is absolutely beautiful. I was extremely concerned that I would never be able to fix the car, but it looks brand new again. The only downside was that I dropped the car off on December 13th and picked it up on January 6th. Yikes. With three jobs, no car, and no communication from the shop I was feeling *extremely* frustrated. After about a week and a half with no car I called the shop to see what was going on and they told me the part was on national backorder until the end of January and that they would call my insurance to see if I could pickup the car in the meantime. I never heard back. Had the shop communicated with me prior to me calling every week I would've had a much better overall experience. That being said, I feel like I chose the right place repair wise. I would've loved to hold the repair until they had the part, but overall it was worth the wait!

Stay Away. If you do have a issue and say you are going to leave a review Cole will threaten to sue…read moreyou for slander. I brought my car in for window tint. (02/16/23) (I had just bought this car on 02/13/23. One owner 30k mile car.) I had talked with Cole over the phone a couple times and was told $250.00 to tint my car. When I got there we looked at the different tints available and I picked out the ceramic tint at a slightly higher cost. I was told 400 for a ceramic tint on all windows but front windshield. Well almost 2 hours into tinting my car Cole came out and said it was going to be a extra 100 because the car had been tinted before. He went on about how dealers often remove tint before selling cars. (I have since contacted the dealer and have been told this car was never tinted and they never removed any.) So with my car help hostage and now he wont let me change back to the 250 tint I am stuck paying 500.00. Well when I got the car back I was now late for a appointment because it took another hour to get done. Shortly after I left I noticed some parts to my car in the back seat and upon looking closely at the tint there seemed to be many flaws. I then called Cole and asked about the parts not put back on and the flaws. He asked me to come right back so he could take care of the issues. When I got back he looked at the car and told me that it was to industry stranded and he would quickly put it back together and removed what he said was glue from one window. That night I took a very close look at my car. the way he gave it back was just unacceptable. It took me over 3 hours to clean all the streaks and foot prints out of my car. There are flaws with EVERY window. When trying to talk with Cole about this I had called them cuts in the tint. I guess there are called creases. (Don't get the wrong or he will threaten to sue you for slander) He did offer to redo only 2 windows saying once again that it's to industry standard. I have asked for a refund from him multiple times now and he just refuses. It is going to cost over 500 now to have this all removed and redone and another establishment. I will also be talking to the MN Attorney General about the good faith estimate and the 100 charge while my car was held hostage. I have filled a BBB complaint and will be fillings them everywhere I can and post this review every where I can. I will also update it.

I brought it back and they were more than happy to meet my needs and expectations. I'm considering going back for PPF. Good to know there's a shop up here in Elk River that specializes and understands car enthusiasts.
