In my opinion: he was rude, and refused to explain any of the legal process. I asked him questions over the phone about my legal matter, and sometimes he would simply hang up on me. He promised the world and acted like an expert, but as soon as I paid him thousands of dollars in advance, all of the sudden he had no time to talk to me about my case. It seemed like he just wanted my money and didn't care at all about anything else. I felt deceived, and I will never go to him again for anything. Maybe he was rude to me because Im Hispanic, or maybe he really doesn't care at all. All I know is that once I paid the money up front, he was a completely different person.

Answer a few standard questions, chat about your impending death, and whammo! You've got yourself a legally binding will, power of attorney, health care advance directive, etc. Betsy also told us everything about death we wouldn't have even known to ask. Plus, she and her husband even come to *your* house for a signing party so you get the documents right away. It wasn't cheap, but check to see if your company has a legal plan (ours paid for almost everything!). But it was thorough, painless, and quick. Just like I hope that impending death of mine will be. (FYI: Betsy knows all the good ways to dispose of your body: cremation, burial at sea, composting, being turned into a tree ...)

Jamia is an attorney who specializes in estate planning. Many people, including myself, seem to think estate planning is "optional." As a single parent in his late 40s (midlife crisis) during the COVID pandemic, I finally realized otherwise. Of course, I had no idea what documents I would need and how much it would cost. So, I sent a message from her website. Here things I like about her service: + Jamia responds to inquiries very quickly. I have almost always heard back from her on the same day. + We first spoke on the phone for a little bit. I had a consultation appointment the following week. Both of these were complimentary. + I found it very easy to talk to her and ask her questions. No matter what I do, I always have a lot of questions. She made me feel comfortable asking all my questions. + I spoke with a couple of friends who have worked with estate planning attorneys and learned that her fees are very reasonable. On top of it, she does it for a flat fee, which gives you big peace of mind when working with an attorney. I'm a linear thinker with an investigative personality! On top of it, I hate wasting things, particularly my hard earned money. That said, I usually do a LOT of research before making purchases small or big.
