My friend has been a customer of Trummie Patrick II and now III for years. I was comparing rates after my Allstate policies had risen to ridiculous levels. I was an Allstate client for nine years. Courtney Simpson answered the phone. From the beginning, "Court" was *on it*. I was so impressed with her product knowledge, customer service and manner on the phone. I wound up with a policy being written that will wind up saving me almost *half* of what I was paying at Allstate this year, with more features and benefits. PLUS+++ you get a live person on the phone that *cares*. The roadside assistance program is so much better than Allstate's, "we will reimburse you afterwards up to $100.00". The development where I live now in Atlanta that experienced the "pipes bursting" after the record low temps. I had flooding in my apartment but no personal property loss. I sent an email to Court to discuss my renter's policy coverage. Court called me back, same day - with great advice, and I will be raising my renter's coverage after getting quotes from her. She answered my question, "why is this happening in the south" and made me feel "safe". Because isn't that why you buy insurance in the first place? At our development management office today I overheard a woman complaining about Assurant renter's insurance and that she still hadn't heard back from anyone. I wanted to refer Trummie Patrick's office! I am a new client for life now. Looking forward to watching Court rise in her career. First off, I had been trying to call multiple State Farm offices for a while - kept getting routed to the toll free number. Toll free customer service agents told me they can't offer quotes effective Jan 1, 2023. And to keep trying local agents. I started asking friends, family members & clients for recommendation (even solicited Nextdoor and FB recommendations) When I was finally able to reach a 'live' person at this location, I was thrilled. But my joy quickly turned to sadness as I was told that Ms. Reid was too busy to speak to me. I don't understand this at all. No offer to take a message and get back to me. Don't get me wrong - the gentlemen who answered the call told me there were other agents who could assist me. So I asked, "Are you one of the other agents?" And he said yes. I declined because - 1) I had 2 people recommend Ms. Reid, specifically, so I wanted to speak to her and potentially give her my business and 2) this gentleman used some weird phrasing at the start of the call and his communication during the call made me feel like his English / our communication might be a struggle. I think he said something like "What would Ms. Reid be advising you about?" before he checked to see if he had time to speak to me. I got the impression that I'm a little too 'down home' or 'country' for this office. Lol. Based on this - I decided to call another State Farm office. I was sincerely hoping this is not indicative of how State Farm treats it's customers. I reached out to Shannon Perren's office in Powder Springs and spoke to Crystal. She was able to provide a very reasonable quote within 15 minutes.

The insurance agency from the link above dropped the ball HARD on the transfer and LIED about how long it would take to do a simple transfer of insurance from one state to another. I reached out to my old agency in North Carolina for assistance. Natalie Reid was highly recommended by them, so they made the connection. Within LESS than an HOUR, ALL of my insurance needs were taken care of by Leanne Sturgeon. Brittany Astin stated that she was out of office but would immediately get me linked with another person at the office to get me taken care of. Leanne not only called me directly, but she explained everything to me, how long certain things would take and assured me that MY part in all of this was done. She emailed me a binder and we're all set. I was so pleased that I decided to transfer my renters policy to Natalie Reid (I had to contact the 800 number for this, as Leanne advised that they couldn't do it directly...otherwise it would look as though they were "taking" a customer from the agency mentioned in the link above). My wife and I switched to State Farm about 2 years ago. We are retired so we were doing our do…read morediligence in finding lower premiums. In this short time our premiums have risen 23%. However, what is even more concerning is that we have NEVER been able to talk to Ryan. Anytime a questions has arisen he has deferred the issue to one of his lackies. Even when I contacted him directly via his email, he has not responded himself. If you are still interested in State Farm, find an agent that cares about personal service.

I never thought I would leave but after a minor accident a couple years ago I had a completely different experience and left USAA. I had 2 previous accidents where the person who hit me had State Farm. I was so impressed by how expediently, hassle free, fairly, professionally, and politely they handled the opposing sides claims that I decided to go to State Farm. It was a no-brainer, if they lost money but treat me that well then they have to take care of their clients that much more. I knew of Ryan through friends and decided to give his agency a try. The auto prices came out to almost the same as my USAA coverage with a slightly better deductible if I bundled my auto policy with home owners. I was happy to start off paying the same monthly amount given how cheap I thought USAA was compared to other providers. Ryan puts a personal touch into his agency which I can appreciate coming from a technology software and services background and having worked in a service industry since my mid-teens. He personally meets with as many of his new clients as possible. You might be a recovering cynic (I mean "realist") like me and think it is a sales pitch, but he never once tried to push more services on me. I would know, in the past a large part of my job was selling warranties and service contracts, and I was good at it. He did make sure I got the coverage I needed and I was happy with my other providers, but that is just as much, if not more, about making sure your clients know what you offer and have a chance to decide whether it is right for them. When the time comes they cannot blame you for not offering and letting you know the benefits. I picked up on something from meeting with him, he was trying to build a rapport with his client, understand their goals and what was important and make sure they had their needs met. It is smart to meet with you and attempt to begin a relationship building process. If you take care of someone well, and know what is important to them, then they will come to you with the needs you can meet. In this regard, good relationships work to the benefit of both parties. This personal touch is something that my previous insurance company lacked. It is really nice to be able to call my agency instead of a corporate hotline. Although State Farm agents are captive and cannot sell other companies services, they are still autonomous in large regard. State Farm is the largest insurance agency in the US. In my experience so far this has been a positive. I was even able to drop AAA and save money because I get free towing through insurance. More recently, I started asking for more from Ryan when it came to my side business. I was really blown away by the amount of time he invested when he knew he would not be getting any more business. The insurance I wanted for my business was outside the scope of what State Farm offered but he called several people that did what I do and came back with a lot of very helpful information, including contacts and options. I have also spoken with his staff and everyone so far has been knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. If I need to add something to my policy, remove a policy, check coverage, or just ask a question I have gotten what I needed promptly. It has been a pleasure so far.
