Watermill offers pours by-the-glass of bottles that they have already opened for the day. The taste is so complex! Notes of some smoked meat, flowers and dried orange peel... i need a whole bottle of it to get the full experience of it! The cheeseplate has some very decent cheeses that compliment the wine! The applewood smoked cheese pairs so well with the merlot oh my gawd! Our server was friendly! When we first arrived it was slow so we get to talk and took our time. But slowly it got busier and the entire house has only her at the front so we felt a little overlooked and we didn't even get our water refilled the entire time. The tasting room is actually 2 large rooms with many seating options. We sat in the comfy chairs in the corner. Van approached us upon entering and served our tastings. He is very knowledgeable about their vineyards and wines, which is much appreciated. They don't have a set tasting flight, but rather "whatever is open" at the time. We had a wide variety from their Blanc Franc, which we loved, to a rich Cab Sauv. The bottle prices are wide ranged and well priced. They have a bites menu, but we didn't try any of the food. They have musicians play on some evenings. They produce whites, roses and reds so it's a great place for couples and groups who have varying preferences.
