He asked for my phone number and when I gave it to him. He said he went back four years and didn't find me and walked away. After a few minutes of me looking for the receipt in my email. I asked if he could look up my name. His reply was "everyone thinks their name is unique " I then asked if he can try my email. His response was a waive of his hand saying "one of them can if they want. I guess referring to his coworkers. I never raised my voice or said anything that might offend him, but from the first moment I felt like he didn't want to be bothered. So I stood there trying to figure out what to do next because I paid 250 for the bad battery. Then a young man came into the store " Mr. Olivencia " and immediately asked if he could help me. I explained what happened and he asked for my phone number. He immediately found my purchase receipt. He then checked my battery again and agreed it was bad and spilling acid all over my car. He quickly changed my battery and apologized for the bad experience. That young man is worth a million bucks. His customer service is excellent and if I ever go to that business again and don't see him. I will walk out and not spend a penny. The gentleman who treated me badly was an older gentleman who surprised me because I'd expect him to be the professional and not the young man. Goes to show you, anyone can be great or lousy at their job. I hope Mr Olivencia succeeds in everything he does. The other gentleman should be retired and put to pasture. He obviously doesn't want to work. Just wants to get paid.

I would not recommend this Pep Boys location based on my experience…read more I brought my car in for repairs and was already dealing with a vehicle that has high mileage, so I expected the work to be done carefully and professionally. Instead, I have serious concerns about both the quality of the repairs and the documentation I was given. The mileage was recorded incorrectly on my paperwork, which affected my warranty situation. I also have concerns that work I paid for was either not completed properly or not completed at all. After the repair, my car is now leaking significantly more oil than it was before it was brought in. I paid a substantial amount of money expecting professional automotive work, and instead I have been left with additional problems and questions about what was actually done to my vehicle. I am extremely disappointed with the experience and am currently looking into my options regarding the repairs and documentation.

Third time it's been two weeks transmission bad again! Each time I had to pay for transmission fluid out of pocket $275.00 second time he said warranty wouldn't pay all the labor so I had to pay $500 plus $275 for fluid! All because he said my maxima has spacers on rims. Total rip off because dealer ship quoted $6,000 for new transmission and I've spent that with this shop on used transmission. Total waste of money. Be careful because I think the transmission is not being replaced just fixed old bad transmission. Each time I took to Nissan dealership and it was in fact all three times another bad transmission each three times!!! Note: Joe said I had warranty but still car isn't working because he says the spacers on rims void warranty but those same spacers was on car when he first got the first transmission!! That's because I patronize my local Autozone here in Draper, Utah all the time...especially for oil, filters, fluids, consumables, and the like (see my previous review of that same store here on Yelp.) I recommended the STP full synthetic high-mileage 5w-30 oil for his '08 F150, and their #S2XL oil filter, amongst other fluids he needed. The employee who helped us was the best part of the trip as he was super helpful and even gave us both a pair of neoprene gloves to wear...free. Turns out he was a retiring senior sergeant there at Bragg and moonlighted there at Autozone. He is now long since retired, but he was a great help in finding some of the small parts we needed to perform a proper oil change. He also recognized that my son was on active duty (and I was formerly on active duty there at Bragg in the '80s) and so he gave us a nice military discount without being prompted to do so! THAT was greatly appreciated and made that trip just that much more worthwhile. Five stars for great parts, and even better service from a supportive staff.
