Talk about feeling uncomfortable and feeling ripped off, let me share it. On May 13th, I took my…read moretruck there for an A/C leak and after $100 I was told there were no issues found. They had replaced the refrigerant and I was good to go but if the A/C went out again to bring it back. On June 3rd, my A/C stopped working again so I took it back to them. When I arrived to drop it off I was wearing my Army PT shorts and the front desk lady came closer, looked me up and down and said: "Look at those legs! I'm glad it's warm outside and that's right, I got no shame." I'm glad my wife wasn't there, cause it would probably have gotten ugly. Anyone would feel flattered with a compliment, but that felt completely out of place and wrong. Now imagine the opposite, I'm the one behind the counter and say that to a lady coming in as a customer? Later on, Bob called me and explained the Condenser was bad and it would cost $775 to replace it. I told him I would have to wait to get it fixed. He charged me again $50 this time which to my surprise would not be counted against the $775 if I brought it back to them. I just got off the phone with Auto Zone and they have a brand new Condenser for $120 w/ lifetime warranty. Called another shop and they can replace it for a fraction of the cost. Best of luck to anyone bringing your vehicle there.

This company said it was his rear Calipers (brake). Really?!? They replaced the rear Calipers, with no consent, did not supply the damaged parts at the end, and charged him over $500.00! Guess what?!? Didn't fix the problem (imagine that!). My son had to take the car to another (honest) repair shop, which diagnosed the problem as the front rotors. Now, I know cars, so the front rotors sound are way more the likely culprit! I am 56 AND HAVE NEVER, EVER, HAD TO REPLACE THE REAR CALIPERS ON ANY VEHICLE I HAVE EVER OWNED. Buyer beware.

I recently moved to PA and this place kindly explained everything I need to do to get my car…read moreregistered. Explained the whole process and pointed me the right direction. They also explained that Maryland vehicles don't require annual inspections and that I could expect my 17 year old Ford F150 to fail some aspects of a Pennsylvania inspection. Seventeen years of wear and tear will probably require new upper/lower ball joints and maybe some lightbulbs are no longer going to conform. Great service! He got me in immediately for an appointment and took the time to explain what I needed and what my options were. My repairs were performed same day wish really surprised the hack out of me. I think I am going to like living in Pennsylvania. After I was done with the inspection of the newly registered/title Ford, I made an appointment with Beverly to have my wife's car inspected. This process is so much easier with Householder Auto and Bike helping me along the way. They are so nice and understanding. This shop knows the front-end counter business and Donald & Cory seem to be the nicest mechanics I have ever engaged, even though I own a Baltimore accent. Thanks for everything Beverly, Donald and Cory.

He showed up at my house looking for payment when I had an agreement with his wife to come to the shop to pay because she left the receipts at home. If he breaks anything he won't fix it. He BROKE my o2 sensor & refused to fix what HE broke without charging. My transmission broke down 4 months after he supposedly "fixed" it & voided the warranty & the payment plan. Claiming the problems wasn't his fault. He changed his story 3 times as to why my transmission failed. & While I was trying to build a case to take him to small claims court he put a mechanics lean on my car voiding any chances I had of winning against this con artist. All he does is go to the junkyard, finds a piece of junk & puts it in your car. & says it's not his fault when your car breaks down. But if you do allow him to fix your transmission go to another mechanic to CHECK behind him immediately. & if it breaks down DO NOT give your car back to him he WILL charge for tow, say it's not his fault , and if you owe money he will keep your car giving you no chances to get a second opinion from another mechanic. Take your car some where else to get a second opinion. I understand you want to save money but your best options are to go to big business & not get nickeled & dimed by small businesses when it comes to expensive, serious repairs like a transmission. Ps. He has 3 shops Cary, Bunn Level, and i guess Sanford. I say that because I didn't know he had three shops & when my car broke down the second time he was suppose to tow it to Cary the place he fixed it before and my car ended up in Bunn Level with no notification. Do NOT TRUST him!!!!!!

Blake is a sexist jerk, plain and simple…read more Immediately upon my arrival, before I was even able to describe what was wrong with my car, Blake asked me if there was any way we could get in touch with my husband. I told him no, described what my car was doing, gave him my keys, and left. When I returned to get my car there was another (male) customer in the store, and as soon as I walked in the door Blake said "Melanie, we're waiting for your husband this time, right?" At that point I didn't even want to deal with him, so I called my husband and asked him to come to the shop. While I was waiting, Blake made several sexist comments about me to the other customer, saying I "control the purse strings" and that I "won't allow the professionals to work on my car because I would rather nag my husband to do it when I should be making him sandwiches." Normally a mildly amusing joke, but not after his blatant sexism had already been revealed. The other customer looked at me somewhat apologetically and said "Good luck." as he was leaving the store. My husband and Blake spoke for a few minutes about what was wrong with my car. Blake said it was an issue with overheating, not a transmission issue, and that it overheated during their short test drive. I brought up the fact that my car acts up even before the engine has a chance to get warm, and Blake immediately assumed it was when I was "driving the kids to school in the morning," which isn't even close to the truth, we didn't even have kids with us in the shop. I also mentioned that my car had never overheated, even on the recent 200 mile drive I took in the heat, with the a/c blasting the entire way. Blake responded with "Oh, so you're doubting me? That's ok, I'm a married man, I'm used to being doubted." but never offered an explanation as to why my car was suddenly overheating when it had never overheated before. We left, after paying for a diagnostic service that we were told would be free of charge, and my car miraculously made it the entire 15 miles back to my house without the temperature gauge rising above 200 degrees, which is the exact temperature at which my car is supposed to run. It takes a lot (and I mean a LOT) to offend me, but my final conclusion about this place is that it's probably a fine shop for men, whether they know about cars or not, but if you're a woman, don't even bother entering this shop without your husband present, and be prepared to sit there, keep your mouth shut, and just smile and look pretty, because apparently that's how good little women are supposed to behave.

Calls to his shop get forwarded to his cell phone and he returns calls after hours for emergencies. I'd go to his shop for every service I could but we live in MD, not NC. He could have easily been dishonest, but he wasn't. I cannot recommend this shop more. Heck, if I have a transmission issue in MD I may pull it and ship it to Nationwide so Blake's team can fix it.
