We brought our puppy into Joni Grooming today to see his reaction to the atmosphere. Instantly he got scared at the bronze bull dogs stationary at both sides of the exterior front door. We quickly entered the store that had a beautiful showroom of doggy shampoos, toys and even a Louis Vuitton replica carriers and leashes. It just felt fun and classy at the same time. The employee greeted us and Tiny Tim while feeding him a doggy treat from a metal king's crown. She then took us on a mini tour of the business with a glance into the grooming area. Two dogs were undergoing an extreme hair makeover. The price for a full service treatment is $95.00 and includes hair cut, shampoo, nails and blow dry. read more

An adorable little dog grooming shop in Boca Raton. Brought our little grand-dog in to check out some of the items they had as well as their prices for grooming. They carried everything from shampoos to faux designer clothing, leashes, collars, and bows for your furry little friends. We were greeted immediately with a small treat for Tiny Tim. The employee answered all our questions and even gave us a little tour of the grooming stations through glass windows on the outside of the store. I started using Joni's at the suggestion of my neighbor. She told me last week that she stopped going there. I am also going to stop. I was impressed with the showroom and the grooming. Unfortunately, their non-grooming staff is very unimpressive. I was first told to text them to make an appointment. I did that several weeks ago and received no response. I dropped off my dog today at noon. They told me it would be 4 hours until he would be ready to be picked up. When I asked why they wouldn't tell me to drop him off closer to the time that he would be groomed I received nothing but a blank look. After 4 hours had passed I had not received a phone call or text telling me that he was ready. Thus I went to the salon and found out that he had been ready for 1/2 hour. They said that they had tried to call me. I showed them my phone which reflected that there were no calls. It turns out that they had two phone numbers for me, and one is incorrect. I told the receptionist 3 times that she had called the wrong number. Each time she asked me whether it was my number. It would have been very easy to try to the other number which is they correct one. They chose not to do so. It will be a long time if every before I am back. read more

We have been a customer for over 2 years and twice they have randomly changed the pricing on us for the same treatment . We originally paid 120 for a trim and bath and then 130 and now 150. I love this place. I had been coming for years just getting my dog's nails cut, but today I tried the full groom. It is so much fun watching the pets come and go. I believe that the prices are very reasonable. For a nail cut it is only $10. Other places are $15 and up. For a full grooming on a big dog, it is $45. This includes ear cleaning, nails, shampoo, trim and tooth brushing. The personel is so pleasant. There is a viewing area so that you can watch them as they work on grooming the pets. It is so much fun to watch! The little pens that they have for the pets to wait are clean. The decorations in the waiting area are adorable. The owner has a Persian cat who visits with you while you wait for your pet. They don't mind if you leave to run errands and will call you as soon as they are finished. Great job...great business. You should franchise if you haven't already done so. Make sure to schedule an appointment even during the one-season months. They are very busy. read more

One of your dogs has been cut so short he has nicks , cuts and abrasions and irritation all over his private parts. ( as shown in pictures I have video also) now imagine you call up the groomer upset and ask for a refund because your dog has been shaved by someone and they went way too hard , And shaved area that didn't need to be shaved like his privates . Then someone tells you on the phone it was your fault not theirs. They tell you they can soothe your dog but you will have to wait three days for the business to reopen after a long vacation the owners were on . Then the person tells you " I think honestly you're all about the money" when you ask for a refund for your dogs mistreatments. I was sick to my stomach . And guess what ? I refuse their refund so I can write this review without it . That's disgusting to insult your customers! My mom has gone their many times and we have given you so much of our hard earned money . Instead of accepting responsibility you chose to deflect, insults, and really under mine my intelligence. To make me feel like a materialistic person who only wanted money because you guys did a bad job. Absolute HORRIBLE place to bring your dogs. They mistreat dogs and don't tell you when there is an issue with your dog. They are VERY rude when you try to speak with them and let them know your concerns or if your opinion differs from their own. I went in with a concern for my dog and was treated horribly for no reason. My father in law was also treated poorly on a separate occasion when he expressed his displeasure with the treatment of his 2 dogs there. If you really care for your dogs then find a better, honest place to have them groomed. I called in a couple days before and asked for a 10 am appointment. (I wanted to make an appointment so that I can pick my dog up in a reasonable amount of time- shouldnt take more than 2-2.5 hrs to groom my Golden) The lady who answered the phone and took down my 10 am appointment was very nice and friendly. She said thank you for calling. When I showed up for my 10 am appointment. It must have been someone different than who I talked to. She (Camila) informed me there were alot of dogs ahead of me and that my pickup time was going to be somewhere within a four hour window. This made me frustrated and upset because I had a 10 am appointment, which I informed her of. This really didnt seem to matter to her. She said she will call me within four hours. To me this is ridiculous, whats the point of setting an appointment. I asked for my dog to have a bath and a trim. To cut the extra long tail fur and trim the back of her legs and tummy. I took time to point out to her all the spots I wanted trimmed. She shook her head and in acknowledgement. When I came to pick her up. Nothing was trimmed! She basically got a bath and some stickers on her head with a pretty bow for $70! Camila's attitude with me Was already beaming and I did not want a confrontation. I didn't say anything , I just left. Maybe I should have! 1 star is for cleanliness. It is a very nice grooming facility. I just cant trust them to do the job my dog needs. Unfortunately this is going to be a negative review for Joni grooming. Camila the owner was also very rude to me because I questioned their claiming my doggie had fleas "lots of fleas" they said. The last time that I brought my dog there they insisted he had fleas and I was charged extra for not only the special shampoo for sensitive skin but also for flea treatment. The second time the same thing happened and I questioned this and explained that I had examined my dog and sprayed him before I bought him and he had absolutely no fleas?! and I took extra precaution by spraying him with anti-flea natural spray, Plus all my dogs get advanced advantrix to prevent fleas and ticks which had just been given four days ago, same as last tine I had brought him. I mentioned that maybe he picked up a couple of fleas there and she went ballistic on me and said that I needed to take better care of my dog? what a nerve! It seems that being a dog owner in his town puts you at risk for people to make nasty comments be judge mental and very rude and I have had it!! Please! is there any good dog groomer out there who is nice professional and reasonably priced ? Please, please let me know!!! read more

I was hesitant to bring my dogs here given some of the reviews but I am glad I did. My dogs had one of the best groomings they ever got! The staff was polite and friendly, they dressed them up with bows and bandanas and they even gave us treats too. It did take a little longer than expected but I didn't mind I was able to get some more work done in the meantime - plus I was able to get them in for a same day appointment. We've been to joni's twice now. The first time was good, I wasn't ecstatic or anything, but it was a good enough haircut, so we decided to give them another shot. My dog got a haircut, and without my request she came home with little pompoms in her hair and a Halloween bandana. Today, I was looking at her hair pompoms so I could take thwm out, since I know she's generally pretty annoyed by rubber bands in her hair and I come to find out the pompoms are GLUED to her head. I didn't ask for her hair to be accessorized, and while I appreciate the effort, I cannot belief a professional would glue something to a dog with or without the owner's consent. Joni Grooming did an amazing job on my dog! The got me in the day after I called. The salon looks very clean and modern, with a cute boutique on site. I brought in a picture, figuring it was a long shot based on how my puppy looked before (he had never been groomed and was a scruffy mess) but they did a great job using the photo as inspiration. I can now see the potential in getting him the look I want, I just need to grow out his legs a few months more. It isn't cheap, but I am extremely pleased with the results! read more

Manager and Corporate Camila refused unwilling to refund cost for grooming for my small Shih tzu.I have been using the grooming service for my dog for few months I make scheduling appointment for Tuesday at 11:30 I walk in the girl asks if I had appointment she NOT understand any English nothing so I was asked if Camila is there she move the head and like yes but Camila no was there.The appointment book are on the table and I was looking and I don't see my name there so I was asked why my name is no there and she move the head again and she took my dog .I make big big mistake to pay and tipped before the grooming is done I did call at 4 pm and my dog is no ready I did call Camila and she is making excuses and she said at 5:pm he is going to be ready I went there and I look by the window and I see my dog still waiting so I decide call Camila again and she continue give me more excuses she said I'm sorry is going to be ready sooner She call to the store and She call me back and she said he is ready at 5:30 and I said ok I was waiting outside in my car at 5:15 pm I watch from the observation window.I became disturb and upset as I sow how she was being handled my dog the girl trimming continue to be rude toward him.I sow she continue abused my dog she is talking with the another employee and my dog is on the table waiting and waiting and I sow her continue talking so I decide call Camila again and explain is terrible the way she is doing the job Camila said let me call her and she stopped talking starts to again shaving him very aggressively and faster my dog are in pain starts to defend to jump from the table after 10 minutes my dog is ready I try to knock the door to said something but I decide to call Camila and explain the terrible situation I was in my car and another employee bring my dog at 6:pm and throw him in my legs with out leash and she said take you bad dog she was very nasty and filthy.My dog was in pain skin red and very sensitive I can't touch him the whole body was Completely shaved and she no shave the head and the face Thank God The grooming was finished in 10 minutes very aggressive and some parts are so close to the skin terrible also I trying to calming him I did call Camila to explain she denied She don't care Nobody speak English only portugués only Camila speak English so the employees are training to said Yes Yes ok and Thank you!!
