If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The only reason I'm even writing this review is because they lied to me. I originally brought my dog in for one specific reason: to have his nails trimmed. I made that very clear when I dropped him off. While I was there, I decided to upgrade to the full grooming package for $120, figuring it would be worth it. When I picked him up, no one bothered to tell me that they never trimmed his nails, the entire reason I came in. I only knew that his nails were not trimmed because when they had called to let us know he was ready, my mom had asked how our dog did with his nails. Despite failing to perform the service I specifically requested, they still expected me to pay the full $120. When I explained that the nail trim was the main reason for my visit, they offered me a supposed **7% discount**. The total came to **$119.80**. That's not even remotely close to 7% off of $120. When I pointed out that their math made no sense, instead of addressing the issue, they brushed it off by saying I could "save a few dol by paying with Zelle," completely ignoring the fact that they hadn't done the service I came in for and had just misrepresented the discount. How do you expect customers to pay full price for a service that wasn't completed, then try to cover it up with a fake discount? It's insulting. The lack of honesty here is what bothered me most. Mistakes happen, but lying to customers and hoping they won't notice is unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering bringing their pet here. read more

This is one of the local grooming spots that I keep in my rotation. They get pretty busy so you do have to call and make appointments. They have a look book you can choose from but I know that when I go here, I don't have to worry about hating my pups cut which has happened in the past, lol the staff are very friendly as well. The prices are about the same as the other places I go and there's always plenty of parking because it's in a big plaza. read more

They are very quick to close the pocket door so you can't see like they are trying to hide something. I first took my dogs here when I was looking for a groomer. I came across this place because it was close to me and had good reviews. This is now my go to place for my dogs! They do a really good and include a lot in their grooming packages. Now my dogs are both short haired dogs so they don't cut and and style their hair. But if I ever get a long haired dog I would bring them here as well. The cost isn't really that bad for everything they do to my dog! I highly recommend taking your dogs here! read more

Amazing groomers. They are a bit far from us as we live in Margate. We used to take our papillon here until she passed away. We have a poodle now and were taking him to a local groomer but stopped after we noticed he would be agitated after each visit, I decided to bring him to lovely cuts and he is happy every time I pick him up and he looks so cute!! My 2 year old German Shepherd has been bathed before but never "groomed" with cut and all so this was his first time and he looks AMAZING! Perfect cut, smells great, and a bandana that matches his personality perfectly! He was in such great spirits after picking him up. My older golden retriever couldn't walk for two days after her bath. She had to stay extra long (6 hrs vs 3) because she needed another bath after going to bathroom on herself - probably from standing up for so long. When I picked her up, she drank about a gallon of water - she was so thirsty and obviously didn't have water the entire day. That night, I was doing some research while massaging her hips because she couldn't get off her bed. I determined her inability to walk was likely due to the amount of time she had to stand up. Lovely Cuts should really accommodate big senior dogs much better, perhaps with a lay down bath/blow dryer. I won't be back. read more

The owners are sweet, but the "manager" who speaks to you on the phone is the absolute rudest person I have ever dealt with. She should be fired after the way she spoke to me. I walked in to the "appointment" at 8:45am to get my 10lb Morkie groomed. He is super calm and it takes other places an hour to groom him. It took them over 6 hours to groom him, and when I called to check in at 1:45pm, the lady got super frustrated, started yelling, and just hung up on me. Then when I called back, she started yelling at me again and asked if I was calling to argue or pick up my dog. I am MORTIFIED at how this woman spoke to me. I will absolutely never come here again, and if you want to avoid being treated like crap, I would highly recommend not doing business with these people. read more

Finally! a place that is very clean and takes good care of my anxious Snickers. My dog usually leaves the groomers with a cut or two since hes very fidgety, sad face and overall scared, but after this visit he was actually happy, he looked and smelled so good and I can tell he liked them, which means they took good care of him. So I will definitely be coming back! Only complaint is timliness: they had said 3 hrs, and i ended up waiting 4 and a half hours. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. I made an appointment over the phone and specified I wanted my long haired dog trimmed with scissors only, no clippers. They said they could perform this service. I drop off my dog, they again ask details of what I want, so I repeated everything. Filled out the same instructions on their ipad at check in. I come back to get my dog and she is totally shaved, so I am in complete shock (and no she wasn't matted). I would have been willing to overlook this (even though it damaged her coat), but then the woman handing me my dog asks me if I knew that my dog had a rash. Naturally, I was concerned, then she lifts up my dogs front paws to show me that HER ENTIRE BELLY WAS SCABBED AND BLOODY FROM BEING RAZOR BURNT. After seeing this, then the woman tells me that it "might" be razor burn (she had no rash when I dropped her off so it was definitely razor burn). Then after getting home and taking a closer look, I noticed THEY CUT OFF ALL OF MY DOGS NIPPLES except for one (which was mostly, but not completely cut off). My dog is vocal when she is hurt, I can only imagine MY DOG MUST HAVE BEEN SCREAMING while they were continuing to torture her. If that is not bad enough, THEY ALSO CUT HER PRIVATES which resulted in a very BAD INFECTION. do not your take pets here. They are completely unqualified, they don't know what they are doing, and they are careless and cruel. Continuing to cause a dog to bleed and cutting off body parts. Ridiculous. Should be shut down for animal cruelty. read more

I had brought my cat in for a bath after being rejected by Pets Grooming in Boca Raton because Ellie said I had a mean cat and she told me my "cat is an outdoor stray." I've had my kitty ZEN for over 2 years and I had just moved down from NY. She said he tried attacking her and I was in shock. I didn't know what got into him. I bought him over to LOVELY CUTS and I picked him up squeaky clean. He looked very happy and the owner had pointed out to me that someone had cut Zen's nails way too short. His nerves were cut also and I cried and told them what happened. I couldn't believe how unprofessional Ellie was treating my cat. The people at lovely cuts were very nice to my cat and bathe him the right way. I am so happy he is clean and he isn't stressed out. I wouldn't take him anywhere else. I've never seen my kitty so happy after a bath. Thank you to everyone at lovely cuts for treating my kitty very well and showing me the pain my kitty was in after Ellie. The first time they cut my dogs hair, the hair cut looked great except my dog couldn't open his eye for a week.... So we decide to give them another chance and the hair cut was barely cut (awful) and they charged $50 a dog and we had 2 dogs.... 2 weeks later here we are with them needing another hair cut...They told me they would redo it but to come in on a Tuesday.. Well that Tuesday my child was extremely sick... In the hospital.... Call them up to see if they could do it and there response was too bad... should have came when I told you do... NO CARE about my child being sick... Would NOT recommend this place at all.... VERY POOR customer service... All about making money and that's it... read more
