Since everything had to come off anyway, I bought a package deal online from Detroit Axle that included new bearings, rotors, and brake pads for all four wheels. Angel was incredibly accommodating and explained he could easily install the parts I provided.I shopped around for mobile mechanics in the Valrico/Riverview area, and Fair Tech was by far the most affordable. Out of the first five mechanics I called, two never responded and three were significantly more expensive than Angel. Quick Heads-Up: Google still lists Fair Tech as a mobile mechanic, but Angel has since opened a small garage and works out of that physical location now.The turnaround time was fantastic. I dropped my car off around 10:00 AM yesterday. They already had a car on the lift but assured me mine was next. When I arrived, I was told that oil changes are only performed in between servicing other vehicles, so there was no guarantee of when my car would be worked on. There was also no waiting area and no shuttle or courtesy ride available. As a result, I had to leave without getting the service and wasted my morning. If appointments for oil changes aren't truly scheduled, that should be communicated before customers arrive. Time is valuable, and I would have appreciated accurate expectations so I could have made other arrangements.
