I went inside to ask if I could get a new debit card and they said yes that girl that helped never went to the back and checked if my card was ready mind you this isn't my first time getting a new card usually when I get a new card they come and bring it out to you, I don't go and ask them if it's ready, this girl had me waiting there for TWO hours got there at 11:30 left there at 1:20 I was also with my son he eventually fell asleep so that helped but it's ridiculous that they had me waiting there for 2 hours and nobody cared to ask if I needed help with anything not even her.

This location is easy to find, right off the road and has both a lobby and drive through. The building is a bit older, but it serves it's purpose. I'd rather have exceptional service and really good online tools than a fancy building. The service here is great. The staff were quick to greet me, understood my questions and got me answers in a jiffy. I appreciated that they took the time to review my account and make sure everything was in order-even beyond my initial request that brought me in. I'll continue to do most of my banking online, since it is much more convenient (and their mobile app is fantastic), but if I do need to stop by for anything, I won't hesitate to come back here.

But I prefer not to hold on to loans for too long, so when I was able to pay it off, I took that opportunity. I had paid the full balance online, but after my payment had cleared, it still showed a dollar outstanding. And I needed to close out the required savings account attached to it, so I made an appointment online and went in to talk to someone. I was promptly greeted and welcomed in. I told them I had an appointment and showed my email confirmation when the nice teller as confused. Seems they don't get notices about the online reservations, so nobody was expecting me. I was advised to have a seat the waiting area and someone would be with me soon. The place was hopping-lots of folks in to do bank business, I guess. After about ten minutes, I was taken back to get my account worked out. The nice young man that helped me got everything taken care of in no time, and he was very professional. Although my experience was limited, it was positive. I would have no hesitation coming back here in the future if my financial situation required it.

They treat every one like they are trying to pass counterfeit money through their system. And when asked why this is happening they give no good reason. Multiple online review sites and digital assistants flagged Cyprus Credit Union for low customer satisfaction ratings, but I went to the Spanish Fork branch anyway to open an account using a $300 promotional flyer. The fine print was full of strict requirements ($500 minimum direct deposits, specific employer rules, charity donation requirements, and 20 debit transactions monthly to avoid a $5 maintenance fee), but the real breakdown happened with the customer service in the branch. An employee (I'll call him "Carson") took my information, scanned my ID, and started the account setup. After waiting half an hour, he informed me I needed to pay $5 upfront, which I gave him. He then began asking intrusive personal questions--where I worked, how long I'd been there, how long I'd lived in Spanish Fork--brushing it off as "chit-chat." When I politely declined unnecessary conversation and asked to stay focused on the account, he claimed he needed to make a phone call for approval. After another 15-minute wait, he came back with a absurd excuse: the "approval board" was in a meeting, and I would have to come back later in the day. An hour wasted for an account opening process that turned into an intrusive, overly bureaucratic nightmare. I walked out and canceled the process on the spot. Worst bank I've ever used! Stay as far away from these scammers as you can. I bought a car at…read moreMark Miller Toyota and thought I was getting a loan from Toyota Financial Services. A month later I get a bill from Cyprus Credit Union. You can't just pay your bill. You have to link an external bank account, either through Plaid or a small funds transfer. The account link failed multiple times with Plaid, so I used the funds verification. It failed as well. After two more attempts, and hours on the phone with their customer service, I was able to link my real bank account and make the car payment. When you click "Pay Now" it doesn't make a payment, it takes you to a funds transfer screen. You have to click "Details" to see what the actual payment amount is. My payment is supposed to be $311.66, but almost every month Cyprus asks for a different amount. Some months they only wanted $275. Other months they wanted $325. It's the most purposely convoluted system I've ever seen. Every other bill I've ever had clearly shows what the bill amount is and why when you pick the "Pay Now" option. Not Cyprus. You just have to guess what your bill is going to be, and why. Their customer service is useless and takes forever to get anything accomplished. They also send out texts that sound super scammy, asking for PII in an unencrypted text. Basically rule number one of avoiding scams is to not respond to requests for PII from unknown numbers, yet I've gotten texts from random numbers claiming to be CU multiple times. Rule two is to not share PII in unencrypted formats. This bank is run by amateurs.

I needed money wired from my account to complete a purchase of a condominium. I thought it would take a few days to wire the money. But to my surprise, it was received the next day and the title company was able to complete the transaction and close the loan that day! They completely understood my situation and did everything they could to help me with it! They bent over backwards - knowing that I could save some money if I closed early and they made it happen! I was very pleased! I love this credit union and would highly recommend it!

It's just a big wall straight ahead with a self service kiosk and a table. Turns out the tellers are to the right kinda shoved in the corner, and there are only two of them (which severely limits the amount of people that can be helped at once). It's like they were going for a "cool" modern feel to the building, but ultimately it just comes across to me as a bunch of empty space. I'm not a huge fan of all of it Though all the employees were super friendly and as I was standing in line, someone came over to ask how they could help me, and they were able to help which was nice.
