But now it seems like every time I walk in or go through the drive-thru they are understaffed and overworked. I once waited in the drive-thru for 20 minutes. It was on a Tuesday morning and according to their hours they had opened about 30 minutes earlier. Just a few days ago I walked in to close my account. I was the only one there and I noticed 4 tellers. One teller had her "See next window" sign up, the next teller was training the other and the last teller was helping someone at the drive-thru. It took a minute or so for the training teller acknowledge me and tell me she would be with me in a few moments. After about 7 minutes she said she could help me. I did like that the transaction was very quick.

I work which means I can't just be calling for my info anytime during the day. When I try to call during lunch it usually takes a really long time if I actually need to speak to a person & honestly I usually don't. The telerphone is the easiest way to get my account information when I am out and about and don't want to risk using public WiFi. This usually happens after 6pm when they are closed, usually when I do not have access to a secure network because I am heading home from work and want to get everything done so I don't have to go back out to shop. But I have heard they apparently don't care about customers service and are seeing to discontinue this service. So I will start looking for another credit union now. Which is a shame as they are in every other way great but this is just to inconvenience to keep putting up with.

Hillcrest doesn't even warrant a single star. What a terrible organization! My bank card had some…read morefraud and I was contacted by a third party notification company and instructed to call Hillcrest and cancel my banking card, which I did. I was told to wait 5-7 days for the new card, which I did, then called Hillcrest to see where my card was. I was informed that the card hadn't gone out as promised. I then explained I would be travelling and also had auto-pay bills starting to stack up. I asked for expedited shipping due to the company's negligence and they would not do so, stating I could pay $45 dollars and then seek reimbursement. I was upset, but had no way to access my funds (nearest branch is far away) so went ahead. Days go by, still nothing so I call again AND THE CARD STILL HASN'T BEEN SENT. I just got an email that it finally was sent but won't arrive until later Monday (it's Friday). Ever Since NBH and Hillcrest took over my community credit union of 30 years, nothing but trouble with this experience taking the cake. We will be taking our business elsewhere and I advise you do the same. JUST TERRIBLE!
