Here is my story. I am seeking a condo or home to buy for personal reasons and somehow, I had no choice but to utilize Jordan on a piece of property I was interested in. You do not directly deal with Jordan at all. I was called by several different people and then placed on hold to transfer to other people. Bad feeling! Jordan never answered my text messages, and I was left dealing with some weird people. James called me tonight and said he had good news and bad news. Good news- my credit score was great. Bad news- there is a fraud alert on my credit reports. Yeah, no kidding James! My ex opened lines of credit in my name in the past, so I now have a fraud alert to protect me. This guy James, who sounds creepy, asked me to call the credit Bureaus and get them to allow Jordan and his people to gain access to my report. My friend Katrina is a realtor, and she said that was odd and so did my Attorney tonight. When a vendor or company gains permission to look into someone's credit and there is a fraud alert, they are supposed to provide the phone # for that fraud alert. This allows the credit agency to determine and verify my identity. it's called protecting my credit! I already had a long conversation about this previously, but they ignored my message. This clown asked me to skip all that for him! Sorry guys, but this is a mess and I chose to look elsewhere for help on a new home. Never again and be careful! This place was not professional; they seemed pushy and did not garner a good feeling here. RUN, don't walk from this company. Didn't close on time. "14 Days to Close" is just a marketing term. Couldn't close mine in 20 days. Worst lender I've ever worked with. Worst communication from a lender I've ever experienced. Didn't answer or respond to over 40 calls, emails, or texts over the course of the week leading up to closing. Crickets from them. When we missed closing deadline, I fired them and closed on the property with cash. Suddenly Jordan and his team starts to call me back when they know they're losing business. Also, it was all from different phone numbers than they had on their website and on their cell phones from the entire process. I tell them I'm going to leave a 1-star review and Jordan tells me he's going to leave ME a 1-star review (which is pretty shocking since I'm not a business) and he threatened me with an attorney if I left a bad review. read more

Jordan gave me a preapproval and later told me he "played a trick" to buy time for us to work on the actual approval. When he was unable to obtain the loan commitment, he blamed me instead. He is a salesman. He constantly talks about his ratings and years of experience instead of focusing on getting the loan approved. I'm not upset he couldn't get the approval but upset at the way he handled it in the end and blamed me, called me unethical and other insults instead of being straightforward with answers. He also sent me emails signed off by himself and my agent (using her name and photo), without her permission/authorization and when confronted about it, couched it as "doing her a favor". RESPONSE: The agent he now says was "great on the deal" he badmouthed before and even went so far as to pull her sales history and tell me that she has very little experience, has sold very few homes, doesn't know what she is doing, and is getting kickbacks from another mortgage company that she was pushing on me. read more

When My fiancé and I bought our home back in august it was such an emotional roller coaster. At one point I saw no way of getting the "clear to close" indication from the underwriter. But just in the nick of time Cara Vreeland really pushed through for us and we bought our very first house while in a horrific pandemic. I chose Jordan based on the amazing Yelp reviews. Unfortunately, I think they must be faked because Jordan is the worst mortgage broker I have ever worked with. Jordan's team follows the classic over promise and under deliver. If you have 8 weeks to wait and close, call him, otherwise there are tons of other Brokers out there willing to provide excellent customer service. Below is a timeline from my experience. Wed May 3: Jordan receives all of the requested paperwork. Tues May 9: My family leaves on vacation. Wed May 10: Jordan emails that he is missing some paperwork. Wed May 11: Email Autoresponder sends him email that I am out of the office till May 17. Wed May 17: I call Jordan and he advises my application has been on hold due to some missing paperwork. He doesn't know what paperwork and he will have his assistant call me. Wed May 17: His assistant calls and advises it was a mistake, they actually do have all the paperwork and they will process immediately. Friday May 19: I email to check the status. "They are working on it." Wed May 24: I email to check status. "They are working on it." Wed May 24: I advise if they can't get me the estimate by Friday I'm going with another Broker. Friday May 26 5pm: We get the estimate esign all of the documents and wait for an appraisal date. Monday May 29: It is Memorial Day. I email to follow up on our appraisal date. The assistant advises he is working on it but 2 weeks is the soonest they can get here. He will keep trying to get an earlier date. Friday June 2: Appraisal is scheduled for Thurs June 8. Thurs June 8: Appraiser visits house Monday June 12: I email asking about appraisal Tues June 13: I receive appraisal via email. Tues June 13: I email Jordan with questions including a close date. Tues June 13: While reading the paper I see the Fed has raised interest rates. WHAT! Wed June 14: I email Jordan, "when can we close?" Friday June 16, 9am: I email Jordan, "Jordan, I sent you all of our documentation on May 3rd, what is taking so long? Patricia" Friday June 16, 1pm: Jordan's response "Hey Patricia- We have been calling and emailing you but have not received much contact back. Scott (senior processor) reached out to you yesterday and never heard back. We get responses like this out of the blue. We are doing everything we can to close but need to work as a team. Thanks, Jordan" Friday June 16, 2pm: WHAT! Friday June 16, 2:15pm: I call another mortgage broker Sat June 17, 7am: A new loan estimate from my new Broker has arrived. Sat June 17, 8:27am: I visit website and esign loan estimate. Sat June 17, 9:28am: I receive email from new mortgage broker that she has made the appraisal request and should have a response on Monday. YAY! read more

I was very disappointed with my experience with PRMG. I wasn't told the interest rate until just before closing. Closing costs ended up being about $1,000 higher than the final estimate I was given, which caused problems at closing. Then my loan was sold or transferred to another company within a month. I have refinanced with that firm at a much better rate, and I was told the rate up front. read more
