As they lived out of town they were not able to be at the store within 14 days to exchange it for another color. It was 3 months and the product was still new inventory. It had not been discontinued and was currently stocked. It was reutned in original bag and with receipt. They would not give a store credit, or even exchange for a different color. The client did have additional products at the register that they were going to purchase but decided against this due to the behavior of the staff and the return policy. I had gone to two or three other places looking for carpet for one room of this house. As a consumer, obviously I wanted to ensure I found exactly the right carpet at the right price. I'm not expecting miracles though. Just good service. Issue #1: I walk in, and I'm the only client in the building. But for some odd reason, I'm not greeted. Not in a timely fashion, anyway. Issue #2: Finally I get someone's attention. I tell them I'm looking for carpet for a room (11"X13"). They casually point me in the direction of the back of the store where their odds and ends are found. What does this say about how they viewed me? It came across as me being typecasted because I looked like some guy who didn't have much money or my own house. "Let's not waste our time with this guy by asking exactly what he is looking for..." Issue #3: After I explained that there was no way I would find what I'm looking for in odds and ends, they broke down and showed me a couple samples. Honestly they didn't even really have what I wanted anyway. I then asked about the reno's they were doing (that's what was going on at the time). They then revealed that they weren't even open that day. LOCK THE DAMN DOOR IF YOU ARE NOT OPEN! My time was truly wasted there. I went with their competitor a few doors south of there.

I was at first impressed by this business until the installer showed up and once the company had…read moreall my money. The owner was very nice in allowing us to do payments without going through the credit card company as it was high interest. HOWEVER. . . The installer came by themselves and then required one of us to help carry in the rolls of carpet. How unprofessional!!! The second day he was here only my mom was here and she has arthritis I her knees and had to help him bring it down the stairs. He was not very friendly and cut the one section of floor to short and it came out of the transition piece after two days. We called to have it fixed and it took a couple calls on our end to get anything set up. He then missed his appointment and again I had to call to find out what was going on. There was no call from them to say sorry he's late then sorry he's not coming. We got someone out to fix it and the. The next day it was already out again. So again called a few times and no response. Then emailed to advise how upset I was and have had NO RESPONSE!!!!!
