I honestly met this realtor through a friend YEARS ago through my friend. He was a great guy so we did exchange contact info. Fast forward 4-5yrs and I'm finally in the market to buy a house. I figured that since I was about to spend a large sun of money I'd use the help of someone that my friend trusted. Jorge and I reconnected and started the journey (a rather short journey lol). He asked me a bazillion questions about what my husband and I wanted in a home. Then we talked numbers and possible scenarios. About MAYBE 1.5 weeks later while we're sending links back and forth to each other, he came back and said I've got what you're looking for. I trusted him and we decided to meet him at the location he sent us. People when I say he's good, I mean it. We spent $950k on literally the first model he took us to see... well that's not completely accurate I mean we did stop to talk to one neighboring developer (we wanted a new construction) but we didn't look at any models. Since closing I have walked through many new construction neighborhoods and I'm very lucky and impressed with our choice. For instance, there was a 4.2 earthquake recently far away, but a lot of the neighboring developments have quite a bit of damage. Yikes! My neighbor whose renting is actually there because their home in an adjacent development had such poor builders that their home caught fire due to a mistake in the construction! Meanwhile my little community has almost ZERO cosmetic or structural damage from that earthquake. Bottom line and the real message I want to drive home here... Jorge really does go above and beyond to make the home buying experience...palatable. Hahaha we all know buying a home can be a nightmare right?
