I had two seat replaced on my suburban. The owner does not speak English so he has his son translate. We got a price on a Friday and was told to bring it in Monday afternoon so he could do it first thing on Tuesday. Tuesday 500 rolls around and no call. I call them and they said that it would be ready between 600-700. I get there closer to 645 and they are still working on it. I was told closer to 800 now. I come back at 800 and they are still working on it!! Now I'm pissed. All the owner kept giving me was a bunch of excuses, saying things like "I'm too busy. people just keep coming in." He says it should be ready by 0900. I tell him I will just come back tomorrow. I come back the next day at 0800 like I was told and Surprise, still not ready. I waited 4 hours to pick up my vehicle. Then when he says he is done, I went and looked at it only to find out that HE DIDNT EVEN REPLACE THE SEATS!. He repaired them. When I questioned him, He tried to tell me that he told me a different price if I wanted them completely done. I asked his son who was standing next to me the whole time getting the price and even his own son lied for him. Long story short, please don't go here. There are much better places out there that actually want the business and don't screw you around. I will never, ever go here again. read more

I had my 1999 Playcraft Pontoon re-carpeted and re-upholstered by Jorge and I can't tell you how pleased i am with the work performed. Jorge, Jonathan and Berta did a great job with not only the work but keeping me informed of the status. The price was what he quoted. I left some of the design details to Jorge and he came through big time. What a difference it makes. Zavala's is my go to upholstery shop, even though I live in San Diego!! The first property happened without a hitch but the second screening happened with a few snags. There was a snag in a back porch screen which was taken care of immediately. However, a week after the driveway overhead & side screens were put in, I noticed a stretched out mark on the side screen that was about 2 feet long on a diagonal which I only noticed it when I was outside of my driveway. I first contacted SSS at the end of September and they responded two weeks later to see if the issue had been solved. That would have been great, but four months later, Bear showed up and assessed the issue as well as an issue that occurred since that visit in September. Bear told me everything would be taken care of and extended the warranty on that stretched mark. One month later, all repairs were corrected and I'm very satisfied. I would definitely recommend Specialty Sewing Senter because not only do they sell a quality product, they back it!

Owner was hard to contact because he works whatever hours he wants. When it was finally ready, a major chunk of door seal was missing, which meant there was a 1 inch gap between the driver's side window and the top. When I brought it back to be rectified, he claimed that piece was missing and that I had told him as much when I placed my order. The door seal was never missing, and I never told him it was. Arnold refused to correct his mistake, and I had to find a replacement seal on line for $84 and fix it myself.

Anyway I finally called Roto-Rooter they said they be out in the morning. This was after 6:00 pm that the water line broke. Roto-Rooter was here around 6:00 Am even though they said they would not be here until after 8:00 AM. I will recommend Roto Rooter plumbing service in a heartbeat!
