My first experience with this branch was great. My call questioning whether a suit could be tailored within four days was answered promptly and when I came in, an hour before closing time, I was warmly greeted. Jack was an excellent consultant, finding me the perfect suit, fitting me patiently, and making every effort to save me money. My suit was tailored well in less than 24 hours! My husband and I recently went to Bridgewater NJ as he needed a new suit we pulled into a nice parking lot (no crowds to deal with). The shop was so well organized it was a pleasure to look around. I called ahead, the phone rang for 2m28s before someone answered. I asked if they had a selection of tuxedoes for sales and immediate pickup. They said yes (and surprise! they had a sale going on). I showed up 5min later. There were no customers in the store and about 5 sales associates were huddled around the register. None of them greeted me. I approached one person and asked for help with buying a tuxedo. He told me someone else would help. That I informed him of my size and tailoring preference and he told me I was wrong. We then started trying on suit jackets (not tuxedo) and I did have my size correct. I then asked where the tuxedo section was. He said they would have to order a tuxedo and didn't have any in stock. I immediately shook his hand and told him I was leaving and that the person on the phone said they had them in stock. He then turned into an asshole. He was very rude to me and those who came with me upon our exit. I left and purchased a Hugo Boss tuxedo off the rack from Bloomingdales for about $895. This price fit well in my budget, if I had more time I could have gotten this brand for much less. I am extremely disappointed in the service and attitude. By far one of the best shopping experiences in quite some time. As we know men typically don't shop they just buy no real thought behind it. I dropped my husband off to get a few new suits. When I came back about an hour later he'd actually she , not only picked out three new suits , she had updated his wardrobe completely from the proper fitted shirts , suits and ties to match all at a wonderful price point I might add . I would recommend sending anyone in need of a suit to this gal , Tasha , at the Jos A Banks location in Bridgewater she knows her stuff and gets the feel of the customer it wasn't like I came in and said oh no we have to start over it was on point for my husbands style . Location is okay it's kind of hard to see from the main road. We had a great experience at this store! We cruised in after 5 pm on a Sunday afternoon looking for a suit for my son (upcoming family wedding and possible interviews, etc. in mind). The sales consultant Jane was super! Ask for her! Really friendly, and helpful. She measured the suit for tailoring even though the tailor wasn't in at the time allowing the suit to be ready in two days! Much better than the competitor's 2 week estimate. Better selection too! I'm so excited to write this review. Jos. A. Bank in Bridgewater is awesome...especially their employee Jack. My fiance at the time, now husband, went in to pick out and order the groomsmen tuxes for our October wedding. He was patient and honest throughout the whole process. He helped us pick out the best outfit for the groomsmen. At another time, my future husband went back and we met up with Jack again and he helped him pick out the most perfect costume suit. He was patient with our indecisiveness to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Yet again, he was patient, honest and kind. We got married on October 11, 2019 and let's just say that the groomsmen looked awesome and my husband looked absolutely stunning in his custom suit. All thanks to Jack! In addition, some of my family members came in to get suits for the wedding and it doesn't come to a surprise that Jack was his amazing self and helped them feel special. Came to this location after being recommended here for quality suits at an affordable price. I came in with skepticism thinking that it would be just any normal suit store but I was happily surprised at how everything worked. The people that worked here were more than friendly and eager to help get me into a well fitted suit. I was mainly helped by Tasha (who was a great help and was very knowledgeable) she made sure I was well fitted and was in appropriate attire for the event I was attending. Went to store to set up my wedding rentals, spent over 2 hours with wife and a groomsman picking out everything and filling out paperwork. Asked if they needed my wedding parties info(names phone numbers) was told no that they would look up the rentals by MY name. Come to find out a week later when people try to go get set up NONE of the info was saved, nothing. Only my name and my tux(as the groom) was saved. Went into the store to be told by Rich that he was "sorry" and I mean he seemed more sorry to have to talk to me and try to fix this then sorry for any inconvenience on my end. Then acted shocked I couldn't remember exactly what me and my fiancé had chosen for the groomsmen to wear. Do not go to this store Jos a Bank is a great brand with many many wonderful employees and sites, sadly this is not one of them. I ended up going to another to fix this issue where they were horrified at what happened and made sure to triple check that what was down was correct for even my rental(they had messed that up too). So yea don't go here they just don't seem to care and treated me and my time like I was a bother to them. read more

These sales people took advantage of my elderly father, disgusting! The one time I didn't accompany my 79 y/o father to shop for clothes and the people at Jos A Bank took full advantage of him. After he chose a $250 suit jacket a sales woman came out and said she didn't like it at all. Not that anyone asked in the first place. Of course the one she did recommend was $650 for the jacket alone! Then she added that since it was buy one get one free, my father could still get the cheaper one(that she originally hated) for free. Buy one get one free is most valuable when the second item is of equal value to the first, but my aging father was called fused and didn't realize that. You can bet the sales people knew that and took full advantage of him. When I found out and called to inquire about returning the items they said that since the jackets were having minor alterations done, which they also recommended to my father, nothing could be returned. In addition they never mentioned prices for the alterations so my father assumed with the high prices the alterations must have been included. When he went to pick up his 2 jackets he was handed with an additional bill over $100 for the minor alterations. I am so disgusted with the sales tactics of the people in this store I will NEVER shop here again. I had been a frequent shopper prior to this. I'm finished with Jos A Bank forever. read more

Not surprised with the other negative reviews, I stopped in here about a week ago. It was like dealing with a used car salesman. He had a 'deal' for that day only since it was so slow. Really ? Well he was just slimy and trying to hard sell me and upsell me. What he didn't know is that I've been a regional sales manager in various hardline good companies for the last 25 years so I know all these tactics probably better than him. I just left.
